After a full day tour this was a well deserved break. It was fun trying to get to the restaurant, circling other local boats and docking. The food was great, good portions and the staff was a bit impersonal, yet professional. They spoke English, but did not seem to want to converse with tourists. All in all it was quite... More

This was part of my trip with the Hong Kong skyline tour. Arrived at the Jumbo after dark to the boat was all lit up. It was set-up in a buffet style with the rest of the group that was on the skyline tour with me. I enjoyed the food and the company. The staff were well mannered and it... More

Looks beautiful from outside but that's all it has going for it. Food is terrible and very expensive. Both of us got sick later that evening. Would not recommend at all. Asian food at its worst.

Part of the short sampan trip included with our Big Bus tour tickets was to swing by Jumbos to have a look. Since we had voucher for a set lunch for two for HK$430 we decided to use it. When we first got on we were directed to the first floor which is quite plush but when we showed the... More

Went for dinner. Got charged for sauce $25 and tea $48 which we didn't order and they brought out to serve us. Didn't find out until we asked for bill. Had better food elsewhere. Beware not to take private boat to jumbo which charged us $50. There is free shuttle boat.

We landed here as part of a night harbor tour and I think that was our first mistake, I'm sure coming here outside of a tour would have given us a lot better experience. We were first taken to an area downstairs showing tanks of live and dead fish (yes looks like they had not checked the tanks that day... More

The outside of the restaurant was impressive, but the food was way overpriced and the quality of the seafood was disappointing.

What a disappointment Jumbo was. We ventured to it after a bad experience with a taxi driver (10 minute trip from Star Ferry took 45 mins ***if cabbing it ensure the driver uses the tunnel and tolls). We lucked out and went on a night where half the floor was taken over by some sort of talk show/Amway type convention.... More
