No trip to Hong Kong is complete without a visit to the Jumbo Floating Restaurant for a meal or even just a water taxi to the massive boat for a look and some photos . Not to be missed !!!

My experience at this restaurant will be a little different, as I didn't go just for dinner. I attended a wedding reception here, and enjoyed a multi-course meal, various drinks, and traditional cultural elements (lion dance). The staff were fantastic and accommodating, and the experience was incredible. The food was great - I even tried birds nest soup!

I went to a birthday party here, on the top deck, the buffet is great, some chinese food, some western, you can order bottomless champagne or beer, and the view is awesome too. You can watch the boats from yachts to sampan's coming and going around the restaurant. The Jumbo provides a free trip to and from the promenade in... More

This is a typical tourist attraction but the dim sum are unexpected good. If you are familiar with the Chinese dishes, knowing how to order the right thing then it is not that pricey. If you have 2 persons, you can taste some dim sum (only dim sum and tea charge, no fried rice or noodle or any main dish... More

This restaurant is specially designed for tourist. You need to take a free motor ferry or an extra charged hand sail small fishing boat called 'Sampan' to this floating restaurant. When you alight, you will find lots of elegant wall paintings, classical lights and even Chinese emperor's chair and dresses for photo taking. The charge is very high even compared... More

As former HKG resident I visited the restaurant several times the past 10 years. I like especially the Dim Sim lunches. In my view not a must-do or worth a special trip for a dinner. However, when at HKG Island because of e.g Ocean Park, Stanley Market or a beach visit well worth a stop, on a 1st time visit... More

I am now living in Hong Kong, and hosting a lot of my friends coming from different countries. I think this place is a good orientation place for tourists, it depicts the Hong Kong landscape, you see the hills on the island, and setting in the middle of the Hong Kong waters. You take a shuttle machine boat bring you... More

The highlight of this restaurant is looking at it. Oh and lighting live prawns on fire and burning them alive in booze... otherwise the food is you typical mediocre Chinese blah.
