Great father's day meal

The food at Caramba is very good, quality ingredients, well seasoned and generous portions, what else can you ask for? Service was good and attentive. The reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because the juices were not freshly squeezed (but price was as if they were), the tables are very... read more

What great surprise! This place is the best Mexican in HK. Good taste, fresh and authentic. Place is small and recommend reservation. Staff friendly. Good margarita and amazing food. Have been twice and for sure will be back. If you looking for good authentic Mexican food, please visit this restaurant

i am not much of a fan of mexican food (largely due to ignorance and lack of habit) but am sucker for chili con carne. the one i had in caramba was fully satisfying and i will definitely go back for another helping of the same. my friends and wife food were also very appaeling. Service was good, we just... More

Our family of four dropped in the other evening and ordered a few mains to share. We had the pulled pork burrito, pulled pork sliders and chicken nachos. Everything was really tasty, fresh and zinged nicely. No complaints either from our two fussy eaters (6 & 4). Whilst the portions were large and we'd def go back, a slight grumble... More

I like this Mexican joint more than the other well known Mexican restaurants in Soho or Wan Chai. They serve a very nice buffett during lunch too. Portions are large and its a bit difficult to manage if you are alone for dinner.

We wanted to eat somewhere near the Take Out Comedy Club and this was perfect, just 2 doors away. I ordered something fast and got lucky with the salad with mango and blackened shrimps. Hubby also very much enjoyed his taco salad. Caramba! proves that simple food can be done well and be exquisitely satisfying!

If you're looking for a quick fix for your mexican food cravings go to this place! Be it during lunch or dinner. And I was able to request a cocktail drink that is not in their menu (or I guess that is a priv for regular? dunno :D) Will go back there soon!

This place serves up Mexican food of a reasonable standard although I think it could be better. I personally would prefer them to offer diners a spice option where the dishes are heated in the kitchen rather than by the diner at the table. You can whack whatever hot sauce on you like but nothing compares to the fusion of... More

Matched only perhaps to Coyote in Wan Chai but then again it belongs to the same group so that makes sense. Very cramped space but that adds to the atmosphere. Go with a group of friends and order a pitcher Margarita.

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
