Iconic HK restaurant.

Loved the Sampan ride upto the restaurant. We dined on the top floor, it was pretty busy. Lots of staff, very attentive. Food wasn't bad at all, we had lobster soup, fried rice with chicken, fillet steak. It was pricey but for the chance to eat in such a well known iconic restaurant as this, it... read more

We made a very special visit to the Jumbo Top deck resteraunt to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday, only to find that it was no longer open for business. There were many comments on trip adviser but no one mention this. After spending $100hk to get there and time wasted we were not impressed at all. We ended up taking... More

As the Sampan ride was included in my Big Bus tour ticket, I had the Sampan driver drop me off at the Jumbo Floating Restaurant. It is so beautiful inside and as you walk up the stairs to the restaurant there is one entire wall with Chinese depictions done entirely in mosaic. The attention to detail in the table setting... If you are visiting Aberdeen district of Hong Kong, do take the opportunity to visit this unique floating restaurant to offer a picturesque and reasonable priced dim sum. You will be ferried on a boat to the restaurant which used to be a sea going vessel. However, after some government licensing changes and a fire, it because a fixed floating... More

Upon seeing the Jumbo, you know you are going for the atmosphere, not the food. The food, however, was pretty good. Actually better than we were expecting. We had a fish dish and a chicken dish. We liked both of them. They were not cheap by any means, but worth it for the amount of food and the atmosphere. Something... More

Free ferry ride from Aberdeen Promenade to Jumbo Floating Restaurant. The huge structure looks amazing as the boat approaches, no wonder it is a landmark destination in Aberdeen. Inside the Jumbo is cultural mix of tourists and locals .. dining, on selfie mode, groupie, or simply enjoying the panoramic view of Aberdeen Harbour on the top deck. Service is fast... More

We booked this tour with great expectations, after reading about it. It started out okay. Our tour guide was bright, informative, and very optimistic. The harbour cruise was calm, with the city lights being very pretty. The boat was very old, and you could not hear the commentary if you sat inside. We were in a small group of 8... More

We visited family in HK for two weeks and on our final night they took us to Jumbo's top deck for a meal. The food was amazing the staff very friendly although a bit quick to take your plate even if one of us was still eating after politely asking them to wait it wasn't an issue. A truly great... More
