Nice place, honest food at reasonable pruce

We needed to find a place where we could afford a nice meal and a few drinks. This place was opposite our hotel and we enjoyed two dinners there. Friendly staff and reliable food. Recommend to western travellers.

Called in at 8.30pm one evening for a quick drink and it was fairly busy. It is obviously popular but nothing special.

From time to time I have to stay in Hongkong several days. Then it becomes almost a must to come to this place for a real, fresh GERMAN beer, and some snacks, like lentil soup or Mettbrötchen, which you cannot get in mainland, and would be dangerous to eat there! I recommend this place to expats, not to tourists, who... More

It was a happy drinking spot until our meal arrived. We ordered the special veal shank. We expected a whole shank. We received a few slices of inedible gristle. We mentioned our dissatisfaction to the owner. He could not have been less interested and arrogantly dismissed our comments. The waitress who took our plates asked us about the food but... More

This was my second and probably last visit to this restaurant. As soon as I sit down I received menu and I was in shock 3/4 of menu was gone including my favourite Schnitzel. I checked their website and schnitzel was listed, nobody cared to de-list it. At this moment it's sort of "fake German restaurant". Wasted 30minutes of my... More

Right in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui is a great little piece of Germany. Just recently tried Biergarten but will be going back often. A little pricey, but well worth it. Really good customer service, good food served hot and cold German beer. We tried Pretzels, Goulash, Fried Potatoes, Weiner Schnitzel, Spatzel, and Lagers. All excellent and going back... More

I stopped in around 5PM on a Thursday night. this is the 3rd trip I have visited here, previous was for a night-cap. Awesome German beers on tap. German bartender I had potato soup and pretzel bread, very tasty. The bartender insisted that the pretzels and potatoes came from Germany, (not so sure about that one, I'll be back

I tried this place for the first time and I'll definitely be going back again. Their food is a good change of pace after a week of Chinese. Loved the Jager schnitzel and potato salad, highly recommended. Can't go wrong with a Konig pilsner beer to wash it down.

Hello fellow travellers, this quaint small establishment is the best restaurant and a definite go to place for authentic German food in Hong Kong. As a German myself, craving some food reminding me of home this is a place I would visit again with friends and family. The restaurant is easy to reach via exits N2 or N1 (Hanoi Road)... More

Visited the Biergarten again on my last visit to HK The Bitburger is the beer of choice and is a break from the usual. Had the curry wurst and frites which was excellent. Been visiting what is without doubt the best German bar in Hongkong for more than 20 years. Always great with an excellent beer to boot. Be back... More
