We went here on our first night in Hong Kong based on the reviews and were not disappointed. We ordered a few dishes to try and as they came out it was clear we had ordered too much. We had small plates but they were not really very small. However they all tasted great would go back again.

If you are looking for delicious and blow out the doors hot yet tasty Sichuan cuisine in Hong Kong, you must experience the Red Pepper. Try the sizzling prawns and Ma PO bean curd. In Causeway Bay right near the MTR!

Each time we come to HK we make it a point to come to the Red Pepper in Causeway Bay. The price has hiked up a bit since. Quality remains good. We recommend the squid, green beans which goes brilliantly with the yeung chow fried rice.

This place has been serving up great food for a long time, and nothing has changed since I was last there. The menu is varied and extensive. I always have the sizzling prawns and have never been disappointed. There is a good range of other protein and veg and the yeung chow fried rice is about the best I've ever... More

Our little fav restaurant every time we visit Hong Kong.. Little English but enough to get through! Great food every time and service with a smile. Best dish: chilli pepper chicken with cashews and the oyster sauce beef.

This is a really good restaurant - a little off the beaten track but worth the walk from Henessey Rd. It is rather small and it is best to book because when we went there it was busy which is a good sign. The food is excellent and quite spicy which is to our taste. The waiters are dressed formally... We have eaten here many times over more than twenty years and have brought many visitors to Hong Kong here. Many of the staff have been there since we first visited. The staff always remember us even after we have been out of town for years at a time. Favourite dishes include Chicken with dry red pepper, Hot and Sour... More

Lovely food. Deep fried chili beef was amazing. Their popular shrimp dish is very good too but swimming in sauce. The roast duck here is well done (but certainly not the best I have ever had) Watch what they put on your table. They added peanuts, pickled vegetables, etc to our table and that really added to the price... Old... More

We certainly had an enjoyable dinner but we weren't blown away as some of the other comments would suggest. The food whilst nice was certainly not the best sichuan we have tasted. The service was very good and atmosphere cosy, but i thought it was expensive for what we got, having said that, the restaurant is in the heart of... More

This was a great meal. As always we picked the set menu to make sure we got some different things and the food was delicious. Service was fine (which is high praise) and the atmosphere was lovely. Would definitely go back.
