I keep on trying this place, have been doing so for over 30 years! Will make up my mind soon as to what is the best dish! Never been let down, always greeted with a huge smile and delicious food, the prawns need to be tried to be believed, the chilli aromas hit home when it is busy! Very very... More

Our group of seven was very well served. Sizzling prawns, driend beef and spicey fish were excelent and nicely presented. This si a pleasand spot for a group meal and a manageable walk of about 15min from the congress centre. We will be coming again!

In years gone by the Red Pepper was a family favourite. When we visited recently the guests were all foreigners and the food very average and on the expensive side for Hong Kong. Service was good and well accustomed to inexperienced Chinese food eaters. However if you want an authentic SzeChuan experience, you need to look elsewhere.

A friend of ours who works for BA cabin crew recommended this restaurant. Having eaten at One Harbour Road (Hyatt) the night before, we both felt that the food was better at the Red Pepper and half the price. The service was faultless and we didnt feel rushed as we did at the Hyatt. We had fhe sizzling prawns, the... More

Different Sichuan to the kind you get in New York, has some dishes that are more like Indo-Chinese. I think it caters to tourists quite a bit and shows in some of the service from the staff. But still a must visit when I go to Hong Kong. Delicious greasy food.

A rather typical Chinese restaurant, but with food that is absolutely a must for everyone liking Szechuan food; spicy but well balanced. We had among other dishes a prawn stew and an onion pie to die for. Wow.

A friend who lived in HK suggested the Red Pepper to us, stating that it was their favorite. Pricey, but wonderful food with attentive, helpful staff. The sizzling prawns were delicious and the squid with cashews and peppers (hot) was tasty and spicy hot! The kimchee was the best I have ever tasted. Probably our most favorite meal during our... We went here on our first night in Hong Kong based on the reviews and were not disappointed. We ordered a few dishes to try and as they came out it was clear we had ordered too much. We had small plates but they were not really very small. However they all tasted great would go back again.
