Ok but not spectacular

The food was fine but nothing special to write home about. Seats were a bit cramped. Probably would choose to try out other Indian restaurants next time - jashan hasn't established itself as a regular "go to" place for us after this meal.

The food at Jashan is good but i feel it is over priced for the quantity they serve. Their mango lassi is yummy and so is their mix tandoori platter.

We went there for the buffet at the weekend. Really impressed and in particular by how friendly and efficient the staff were. Really made us fell at home. The food was also excellent with a good selection of curries, not huge but certainly enough for an excellent lunch. Table were nicely spaced apart so it felt reasonably private. All in... More

Two weeks ago we ate our 'comfort' meal - Indian - before embarking on a trip around the mainland. Tonight we returned before we depart tomorrow. Jashan is a cozy place above the street. The service is attentive and friendly and most of all, the food is good!

Being a true panjabi I phones in advance to find out who the chef was and was surprised when the said he was Indian with true Indian culinary skills. When I got to the restaurant the service was good but the food was just awful. The starters of kebabs and veggie samosa was nothing like I had experienced before. It... More

Jashan is a fine dining Indian restaurant in the heart of Hong Kong. We were short of time and did not want to experiment on the food part. Hence we stuck to Indian. The spread was pretty huge for lunch. Almost 18-20 items on the counter!! Thats pretty reasonable considering a price of HKD 118. Now coming to the food.... More

Eat here regularly for dinner and buffet lunch. Will continue to return. Great food, not bad value but bathrooms poor - clean them please. A proper scrub needed!!

Went to the restaurant based on TripAdvisor reviews. Something must have changed. I was very disappointed. The food was just OK. I've eaten far better Indian food and at this price they're really pushing it.

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
