Like his father who has mastered the art of Indian cuisine, this second generation chef has focused his heart in the fusion of contemporary Indian. After completing school in Delhi in 2003, he joined the Taj Palace and had the experience of serving high profile guests. He then joined a contemporary Indian fine dining restaurant in Dubai before coming to Hong Kong. Jashan serves a sumptuous lunch buffet daily, incorporating some of the restaurant’s favorite dishes. The lights get dim for dinner time and out come the romantic candles.Seating up to 75 guests, Jashan’s menu includes classic curries such as Chicken Tikka Masala and Chef Asif’s innovation such as Bagare Baingan, baby aubergines cooked in nutty Indian gravy, and the Patte ki Macchi, seared pomfret fillet wrapped in banana leaf that keeps guests coming back for more.

Excellent food for the price. We were forced to sit right inside inspite of many tables vacant on outer side. Tables reserved for One and Half Hour! Well! Some amendment for reservations !

Had some king prawns, would have liked a bit more than 4, but they were very tasty as well as the pilau rice. The nan was a bit lacking in flavour, but all in all a very enjoyable experience

Centrl location and well priced food of good quality. Family with grown up kids was looking for a place to eat where we were able to talk. Despite having a table of 20+ in the restaurant at the same time they served us promptly and kept ensuring we had all we wanted. Made a dish not on the menu without... More

Jashan has for years been consistent in serving good Indian food. The restaurant is up market for Indian restaurant standards so you can take a date here as well. Service is always good and friendly and the variety of dishes is good as well. I can recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a nice curry. It's worth to go... More

Went to this place because of a discount associated with a place I was staying. From the ground floor it does not seem like the restaurant would offer much. Food selection was good, food was very good, and service was excellent. Definitely would go back, but also hope for some more options that were less spicy...

The food was quite good but there are so many Indian restaurants to go to, they have to be very good to get repeat customers and we would not return based on last nights experience. Service was average to say the least - not one smile all night from the staff apart from the manager when we arrived. Serving staff... More

First visit to this restaurant. Visiting Hong Kong and celebrating Diwali. I am Indian but cannot have any spicy food. For me it has to be bland vegetarian and the rest of the party all eat spicy food. The manager took the order and reassured me that his chef would be able to make a starter and main meal dishes... This is a solid indian restaurant on HK island. Food and service are good and the location is great if you want to kick on for a few drinks. Personally, I think there are better curries at Bombay Dreams and in Chungking Mansions but you can't go too wrong here! They do 2 for 1s with supermondays so an absolute... More
