Like his father who has mastered the art of Indian cuisine, this second generation chef has focused his heart in the fusion of contemporary Indian. After completing school in Delhi in 2003, he joined the Taj Palace and had the experience of serving high profile guests. He then joined a contemporary Indian fine dining restaurant in Dubai before coming to Hong Kong. Jashan serves a sumptuous lunch buffet daily, incorporating some of the restaurant’s favorite dishes. The lights get dim for dinner time and out come the romantic candles.Seating up to 75 guests, Jashan’s menu includes classic curries such as Chicken Tikka Masala and Chef Asif’s innovation such as Bagare Baingan, baby aubergines cooked in nutty Indian gravy, and the Patte ki Macchi, seared pomfret fillet wrapped in banana leaf that keeps guests coming back for more.

I have never eaten such bad Indian food. The main courses we ordered were tasteless. NO spice or flavour at all. This was our first time and our last. The owner was so rude too

My boyfriend and I visit Jashan every time we have a curry crazy, which is quite often! The food is wonderful and the staff are always very friendly. The black lentils are my favourite dish on the vast menu. We haven't tried any other Indian restaurants in Hong Kong - because we are always really happy with our experience at... More

A great menu to choose from and very well prepared, go there to get the same taste as back in India. They will cook it to your need, just let them know what you are looking for and they sure will get it right. It may be slightly expensive, but its worth it

Authentic Indian fare available in the heart of the city. The food is very good and the delivery service is a huge plus. I would recommend it to anyone suffering from a lack of vegetarian options in the city.

I had researched Indian restaurants via TA and chose this one for its reviews. We chose Chicken TIkka Masala, Rogan Josh, saffron rice and Aloo Paratha, red wine and beer. The service was quite good considering that it was a busy night mid-week full of ex-pats, including one very large group who were very loud & noisy. We are glad... More

I went to Jashan 3 times, first time for dinner which was ok. It's not easy to find good Indian food with good service and a good ambience. So we tried the lunch, a buffet was set up which in my opinion looks not appealing at all so we choose a la carte which was not much appreciated by the... More

Lunch is a buffet which may easily require two hours for the food is fresh, well prepared and absolutely delicious. The service is prompt and efficient. Their supper is not to be missed as specialty items are occasionally offered, e.g. the street food of Delhi. The only disappointment is the specialty meals are infrequent!!

Maybe we came on a bad night. Have been here many times but the food we had was very average. Three curries including a prawn vindaloo did not have much variation in spice or taste. We were told the vindaloo would be hot as it should be but when it came to our table it was medium heat at best... More
