Delicious and unexpected dinner

Wednesday night dinner with friends which had some unexpected moments. I ordered the pate which was surprisingly served with crusty bread laid upon chicken wire. Looked fab and tasted delicious. Then had the lobster mac and cheese which was one of the best I'd ever had. Service was pretty good... read more

I visited the pawn for the first time on Saturday night with my husband and we had a fantastic time! We ordered the tuna tartare and salmon to start with and a steak to share as a main course. All dishes were both pleasant to see and to eat. Despite the busy night, the service was also quite attentive and... More

Had dinner with a few of my friends the other day and must say that enjoyed the whole experience. Food was excellent, espacially the rib eye which was finger licking good! The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Would love to come back some day:)

Friends brought me here recently. It was my first time, but they have eaten here several times in the past. They told me that the restaurant was recently redone, and the menu changedmenu. The food was "nouvelle" style, in other words, the portions were small. But the food was so good and so well prepared and presented that we had... More

Meeting for afternoon cocktails and and a bite to eat late in the arvo, followed by a dinner - I found this place a little expensive and unaccommodating. Whilst we were happy to order anything but the 3000 dollar wines, the crew were a bit stiff. The afternoon menu's on the tables looked great, we all started to get a... More

I visited The Pawn two weeks ago. I made a booking for lunch and we sat on the terrace. Great weather, nice ambiance and very nice lunch set menu. Everything was good apart from the service. I did not see any smile and there was no anticipation nor recommendation. The first question we got was: would you like sparkling or... More

We had dinner here recently. The location is good and atmosphere in the restaurant was fun. The food was generally good, but we had to constantly chase the waiter for water, often waiting 3/4 minutes to get attention.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
