Great Outdoor Dining!

Had a lovely dinner on the balcony of The Pawn. I can't quite remember what I had, but it was all good! Would recommend a lazy dinner or brunch with friends on a breezy day.

We had wonderful night, my starter was Tuna Tartar, cant find like this best compare to others, my friend had Seabass Carpaccio, both are excellent dishes, fresh, light and let us want more. We shared USDA sirloin steak, juicy, tender, with 2 sides fine beans and house salad are perfectable balance. We decided will be back again as service, food... More

Still a great place to watch the trams on the Johnston Road and enjoy a drink on the verandah of the Botanical. Have yet to try the upstairs restaurant but a pity that the Ovologue has gone from downstairs.

A totally sensational meal. Fois gras ice cream, and mousse to start, the best I have ever had across 4 continents. A, burger to die for, light and charred just enough, and better chips than the Hind's Head in Bray. Baked Alaska (flambéed of course) light and sweet with rum infused raisins FFS! A new twist that brings it up... More

A place to see, and be seen. Get a balcony seat or don't bother. Great view over Johnson Street. Watch the trams go by, people watch, meet friends.

I visited the pawn for the first time on Saturday night with my husband and we had a fantastic time! We ordered the tuna tartare and salmon to start with and a steak to share as a main course. All dishes were both pleasant to see and to eat. Despite the busy night, the service was also quite attentive and... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
