A bit overpriced

The service staff, attentive and friendly, was the best part of this restaurant. The food flavor was above average, but considering its portion, ingredients and price, I felt the dishes were all overpriced and I was paying for its prime location and brand name much more than the food itself.

I love Korean food.... and was excited to try this restaurant when my wife suggested it, as she was impressed when she went with her Korean colleagues. But unfortunately we were very disappointed with most aspects of the restaurant. We were at the Wanchai branch for dinner tonight. Firstly the service was not what we would expect of a "good"... Must visit for the selection and quality of food on offer. Bbq beef and kimche chicken was delicious. Ever time I visit HK this is on my list of restaurants to eat at. Good value, execellent service.

I had been looking forward to eat at this place during my trip recently. I was happy with the experience but felt it could have been better. I order a beer along with the Saengsogogi Modeum (special cut beef combination with spring onion salad). I was also looking for a noodle dish (singaporean like) but had a hard time communicating... I found this place average and with limited variety. I ordered a tofu soup which wasn't that great. I prefer Joon Ko Restaurant in Wan Chai - it has a better menu and the food is better. Even the side dishes at Joon Ko is better and they provide more dishes. This place is just hyped!

If you ask anyone in Hong Kong for a Korean restaurant, they will probably tell you about Arirang. It's an average Korean barbecue. To be honest, there are several smaller Korean restaurants that have significantly better quality of food - at a price that makes more sense. This is not to say the food in Arirang is bad, but it... This restaurant has moved from Times Square to Wan Chai. The location is a little in between two MRT stations. I have been eating there for over 10 years now, and had always liked their food. But this last visit was a big disappointment because of the food quality. The appetisers are no longer of mentionable quality. I ordered a... More

I so much wanted to rate this restaurant, I really did. I virtually twisted my wife's arm to take the MTR to Wan Chai and walk the 10-15 minutes to the restaurant. "You'll enjoy the Korean food there", I told her. Big mistake! Great Korean food certainly exists, but this isn't it. The meat and fish BBQs (cook at the... More

Absolutely delicious food I found today at this restaurant. Being selective for vegetarian dishes did not prevent me from having an amazing choice of never had before Korean dishes . The pancakes .and the tofu were superb, the special sauces made the taste even better, what I Also liked was iced ginger tea with pine nuts !!! Surely going to... More

This place was highly recommended by a number of friends. Finally had a chance to have lunch there recently, and agree with them all! The menu was extensive. We ordered a bunch of meats to barbeque at our table, along with some salad and fried prawns. Everything was great... the meat was of very good quality. We also got some... More
