Lovely ice-creams; pricey, so go as a special treat

I love the causeway bay shop because it's usually very quite and it overlooks Victoria Park. It's spacious and bright, with large bay windows. They have a 6 mini-scoop set for HKD98, which I think is one of the best options you can go for while dining in (because you get to try 6 different... read more

I go here more than I'd like to admit - the ice cream is really, really yummy. But be warned that it's terribly overpriced. Tiny scoops for $49.

A WOW place for delectable dessert and ice cream creations! Everything is so appealing and lovely when served with the glazed and toasted orange slices. The green tea flavor and the almond ice cream is just so so good. Their coffee selection is so aromatic and flavorful. Their hot Belgian cocoa is fantastic! Great place for family, couples, young and... More

I love dessert, ice-cream is on my list. I like Haagen-Dazs ice-cream especially their afternoon tea set. I don't know if they still provide it, i tried it last year. The set included a cake, a cup of coffee, an ice-cream with very reasonable price. If i don't come at tea time, i will order the chocolate flavor, it is... More

I got the Summer Berries flavor at the HD in Mong Kok district. That was pretty good. Mmmm. We came across another HD in Lam Kwai Fong and I got the Blueberries and Cream. And that was very good ice cream.

Amazingly incredible and delicious. More incredible is the presentation and instant weakness you feel in your knees when you see their creative ice cream menu options. We ordered "Flower Blossoms" and it was one of the most memorable ice cream feasting i had ever experienced. Fresh cream, strawberries stuffed in waffle topped with amazing soft scoops of various flavors. Let... More

We enjoy sampling different types of mooncakes each year during the Mid-Autumn festival period and decided to try one of the Haagen Dazs 2014 mooncake collections during the holiday season this year. Before investing into the more expensive offers, we first sampled the Petite Collection (4 mooncakes for HK$288 walk-in rate) and found them to be a gimmick and waste... More

While many of the ice-cream and yogurt shops have closed in the past couple of years, Haagen-Dazs seems to faired much better and have continued to expand during this time now having 24 or 25 shops in Hong Kong. Haagen-Dazs success in Hong Kong is likely due to the higher-quality ice-cream they serve, which we have found to be quite... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
