slow, but friendly service

the service can be slow, but friendly and apologetic. the food is very good, and has a large range of offerings (although the menu doesn't appear to have any rhyme or reason). drinks are excellent as well. fine spot for people watching too.

We dined here on a Friday night for an early dinner. I recommended to go to this restaurant as in the past we have been here and the food has been good. We started of with waiters that you had to hail 4 times to get your order! Bad start! We ordered cocktails which the waitress mixed up, even telling... More

Two of us walked into this empty place at 8 am (we were the only customers throughout), ordered one light breakfast (yogurt with fruit/granola), a latte and three coffees (note: they don't believe in refills in Hong Kong; you will be served a new cup and charged for it). What really got me was not the total tab of HKD... More

...instead if rice and noodles, this the place for you. Basic, uncomplicated food in nice surroundings in the middle of LKF. Does what it does well and at reasonable prices.

Found this place by chance as we were staying nearby. Absolute gem of a find. Service fantastic. And the breakfast was outstanding. Menu was very varied. Coffee was one of the best Lattes I have had. Not overly cheap. Averaging about £15 per person but for a meal that was as filling as dinner. Well worth every dollar though. Also... More

This restaurant was very close to our hotel in Hong Kong. So first time we were passing it by and sat at the open veranda to have a glass of wine and a cappuccino. So the nest day when we were pressed for time before going to the airport we decided to have a dinner there. The service was great.... More

Wagyu at Star Street offers western breakfast in a nice dining environment. While we prefer the seating area of this Wagyu branch, we are less fans of the food here compared the Wagyu located on Wyndam Road in Central. Recently we had breakfast at this Wagyu in Wan Chai, ordering the French Toast (HK$90) that was very well presented, being... More

Went to Wagyu with my husband and two young daughters one evening. I had high expectations and they were certainly met! Collectively we ordered mussels, scallops, pizza, beef tenderloin, ribs, apple crumble and ice cream. Everything was delicious, particularly the ribs! The apple crumble was quite possibly the nicest I've ever had. Definitely recommended!

We went to this resturant on recommendation from a friend and we were not disappointed. The steaks were amazing and the service was excellant. We had a dessert which was also very good and a nice glass of Melbec wine A lovely evening in Hong Kong

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
