Nice place for fine lunch

stopped by here for lunch. They were packed but able to accommodate us. Service was slow. Longer than expected for lunch. The portions for lunch were small, and a little pricey but that was expected. I ate lamb and found it to be very good and well prepared.

Had an early dinner a couple of days at Wagyu with my family when we were visiting HK. Very nice place, reasonable prices, great food, very good location and the staff is very hospitable and accommodating. My wife and I had the Wagyu Koftas for appetizers. Our 6 yr old twins wanted quesadillas but not spicy. The restaurant initially said... More

Fed up with Chinese food, I was determined to find something else to eat. We stumbled across this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. Many restaurants weren't serving food until 6-30pm. Nick looked after us. The food was great, service excellent and Nick had time to chat about Hong Kong. I had salmon fettuccine, my partner had pork belly. We both... More

I really like this restaurant and go there regularly. The atmosphere is just right and the portions generous. Good quality food and welcoming staff. I have found it to be a consistently rewarding experience. It is not cheap but no where serving international food is in Hong Kong. And at least you can leave feeling well satisfied

I should have seen the warning signs. Posh neighborhood, bar with all day dining and a menu that screams fusion (absolutely not a good thing). The setting is nice-ish albeit noisy by the road side. The menu choices are plentiful and sound good. Unfortunately the execution was proportional to the pretentious setting of the establishment. Instead of delivering good food... More

This restaurant was a bad choice to go to. I went there with family and we all ordered wagyu tenderloin steaks. These stakes were 730 HKD for a 10 oz. that's a 100 dollar steak! That's overpriced! Also all 6 of us ordered medium rare. They then brought us 6 rare steaks. Then we asked to have them recooked. They... More

This place was great for an early happy hour on a saturday late afternoon / early evening. They also served us some free of charge calamari and chips which was great! We didn't eat in the restaurant, we were just in the front bar for drinks, which was good. Thanks!

If you are craving, as I was, an unbelievably delicious red stake, I'm afraid you will leave here less than satisfied and several hundred USD dollars poorer. Don't get me wrong there was a lot about this place I liked: 1. Comfortable seating (I'm picky; chairs have to have right padding and resting angle) 2. Warm friendly service staff and... More

We had very nice lunch food and the service was very friendly and welcoming. At the end of our meal, the server asked where we were from and whether we had ever been in Hong Kong! When we said this was our first time in Hong Kong, and our first meal...the server comes back with vodka shots (including one for... More

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
