My boyfriend and I enjoyed lunch at Saigon on a sunny Sunday. Visiting for the first time, we were delighted with the wonderful view from the 1st floor terrace. We ordered the rice paper rolls, one vegetable and one beef - both were very good. We also ordered a banana heart and chicken salad which was wonderful. Full of flavour,... More

It was a good change of pace in Hong Kong, peaceful, quiet, with a view of Stanley Beach. Food is very good, service is good, young servers, not quite the seasoned professionals of other HK establishments It was a nice, pleasant break. Good value meal.

We live in Stanley and ate here once 4 years ago and did not much care for it. (My wife and daughter love Na Triang in Wanchai). Tried Saigon today and what a change! The rice paper rolls were delicious. All the beef dishes were very good. The red curry was great. A good alternative in Stanley.

My wife and I visited Saigon during our recent 4-week stay in Hong Kong and enjoyed the food so much we had to go back again before we left. The lunchtime special menu gives a choice of main course, plus starter and drink for HKD138 plus 10% service. A choice of terrace seating or air-conditioned interior, perfectly adequate service and... More

As nice as the building is where the restaurant is located, as bad was the experience. Staff totally overwhelmed, I guess the poor waiter had his first day. He didn't know the menue card at all. Took ages to get the beverages. Delivered the wrong food as well. The poor waiter was also totally left on his own. There was... More

Absolutely wonderful lunch in a lovely setting, we sat on the balcony of the old colonial building where the restaurant is situated overlooking the bay at Stanley. The sole fish curry is the best I have ever tasted and the service was a delight. Would strongly recommend.

Liked the location so decided to have lunch. Had a squid salad followed by lemongrass chicken. Both dishes were just average. Nothing to complain about, but nothing to write home about either. Of the two, the squid was the stronger. Get a table on the terrace, suck in the view and have a meal while you are there. Service was... More

The location is perfect in Stanley market in an old colonial style building. I sat out on the covered terrace looking forward to a great meal The cha Gui was nice but the dalat noodles were greasy and not very tasty Service was chaotic with on every occasion a different waiter or waitress dealing with it, no tables seemed to... We had cruised from Dubai to Hong Kong visiting Vietnam along the way. We had one day in Hong Kong so chose to go to Stanley as we had not been there when in HK previously. There seemed to be a lot of fast food outlets in Stanley and we wanted something a bit more upmarket. We found the Saigon... More
