Firstly, I had absolute HELL trying to find this place. You're probably a tripadvisor freak like me, going from restaurant to restaurant following the hottest reviews. This was a nightmare to find; the directions on the tripadvisor map are all wrong and I had to stumble across an old review to find the place. Basically, go to the LG Towers... More

Easy to find by subway or if you’re at the Silk Market. Take Yong'anli exit A to the Twin Mall. Go to street level and it is behind the west tower on a side street. We went on a Thursday night at 7:30 without a reservation and had to wait for an hour. During our wait, the hostess brought sample... More

Great ambiance, great looking place, they even have a talking bird that can make talk in many different languages. So much fun to be there. But the thing is I am not a big fan of Chinese Cuisine, and even if this place smelled really good, i didn’t enjoy all my plates. The shrimps was excellent, but the duck i... More

A friend of mine chose this place to have dinner on the last night of my recent business trip to Beijing, and it was fantastic. It is small, and very popular so you really need to book. The staff are very attentive, and the menu had plenty of items to tempt the fussiest diner.

Actually I have been this restaurant many times before, it is always good. I have been jian guo and xiang shan two branches. I like more of xiangshan one. Food is outstanding manchu style, very rare in China. Beef, mutton, and venison. Qing dynasty style on decoration .service is average.

We dine here one Thursday evening at 7 pm. Waiting time acceptable (20 mins). Atmosphere is good. English is not spoken by most of personnel. We went for honey fried prawns, sweet&sour chicken, potatoes, fried rice. All dishes were very oily and greasy, so we did not finish nothing except for prawns. "damage" of 224 yuan.

Na Jia Xiao Guan was quite full when I was there. The interior design is stylishly traditional. The food was also creative but still kept the traditional taste. Most of the customers are foreigners and young people. I like this in place!

This is one of those restaurants that make you realise what all the fuss is about regarding Chinese food. We returned twice just to try other dishes on the menu. The Crispy Prawns (Homemade Style) was easily our favorite. The Pork Liver with Leek was also wonderful. Many dishes the I can't remember the name of now were also wonderful!... More

Ambience is really important to me when it comes to enjoying a meal. This was the perfect place for having a Chinese meal. The decor was exuded old Chinese charm, and effort was clearly taken to keep waiting customers entertained. They had a parrot in the hallway, where tea and other cold beverages were served while we waited. The main... More

Liked the deco, creative food which you can not find elsewhere, cool plates/ bowls that always made me want to grab them home ... But too small the amount and expensive. service: just a little above average, not quite superior compared to its positioning, perhaps I dreamed myself princess in the imperial palace...
