If you have not tried imperial Chinese cuisine before, you need to try this restaurant. The dishes were fantastic, prices reasonable, service was very quick.

I went there last night and I loved my experience. The place is very calming and beautiful. The service is impeccable for a Chinese restaurant, the waiters were very attentive and patient. I had the Deer with Abalone Mushrooms which was delicious, the famous home-made prawns, the mashed potatoes and the walnut shortbread ( nothing like I've tried before). Including... More

This restaurant has a great atmosphere and serves authentic Chinese quisine. We got a table outside. None of the staff speak any English but there are pictures and an English explanation in the menu making choosing pretty easy. We chose a lot of different dishes that were all decent but not great.

We stopped by to have dinner. This restaurant is really popular with the locals so be prepared to wait. The restaurant is not very friendly to foreigners if you don't speak Mandarin. It is not that anyone was rude, it is just very difficult to communicate with the servers and the staff. We had several dishes and everything was ok,... More

If you are in the neighbourhood (Chaoyang District), definitely try to have a meal at this truly fine restaurant. As other yelpers have observed, the service is outstanding--I was really impressed, even though none of the staff at the time I was there knew English. What they did instead was to recruit someone who seemed to be their manager and... More

Booked a table for two 2 days ahead for 6 pm on a Sunday in June. Arrived to find there was no table inside the restaurant and was ushered to the terrace on the 1st floor instead. Was a bit apprehensive of possible heat and/or thunderstorms because there was no air-conditioning and no cover whatsoever. But it turned out to... More

Always nice to visit this restaurant. I have been here several times and was never disappointed by the food. All original Chinese dishes in fantastic quality and a great atmosphere with inner court and several parrots. As a non-Chinese watch what you order, it may turn out strange or pretty hot, so take your time. Staff is very friendly but... More

We were passing by this restaurant and decided to try it out (they have a sign in Chinese outside, so had to Google the name). Inside, the staff was very accommodating and friendly. Even though they didn't know much English, they made every effort to communicate with us, and showed us to a table. Very warm service. The ambience here... More
