Bit flash and very good

Just had lunch here, and the duck is very good, also the pate cherries, no complaints on food or service. When entering take a look through the glass to the ovens to see how they are roasting and preparing the duck.

We ate here at the recommendation of our hotel, The Orchid. Very good duck, lean, crispy, and delicious. Service was very good.the menu is full of photos for non-Mandarin speakers. We also have grilled avocado as an appetizer and enjoyed that too.

This was an amazing place to have our last meal on vacation! Reading the reviews on the service I was worried it wouldn't be up to par, but I thought the service and the people working there were great! helpful and made sure I always had a beer! Also on the price, it is more expensive than other places in... More

Nice atmosphere, very good food and service, and we walked-in and were seated immediately without a reservation. All good!

My parents were visiting and we wanted to bring them to something special. I heard that this place is well known for their Peking duck. We got the lean duck and it was really delicious. I would definitely recommend it. My main criticism is this place is unfortunately the service. You would expect great service at this place considering how... More

Come here for dinner, already made reservation but since we come late, we need to wait. Order the following Roasted Duck The skin so crispy and melt inside your mouth the minute you eat it. It comes with pancake as we need to wrap it to eat and It served with condiments such as bean paste, cucumber, sugar, lemon grass,... More

Unfortunately, I came alone so I didn't get to try allllllll the beautiful-looking dishes that I wanted to. I did get half a duck though! So good. I thought the service was great! The place was so full already that they seated me at a table for 6, haha, but the waiters looked after me. I can't wait to come... More

Visited this restaurant on the back of it's award and ratings among other restaurants in Beijing. Only after having booked a table did I see the reviews and got a bit worried. However, I worried for nothing because the restaurant proved to be excellent. We had one of the signature ducks between two people and, albeit expensive for Chinese standards,... More

Ignore the cold, inattentive service if you want really good Peking Duck. We were made to wait over 30 minutes even though there was a whole side room with empty tables - maybe they just wanted to hint that we should make a reservation the next time. I have had Peking Duck many times in Beijing at various decades old... More

I was really excited to try Peking duck, and I had heard that Dadong was the best. However, I was unable to try it out for myself as the service was horrible. I went in one night to have dinner and was turned away because it was too busy. As it was New Years Eve that was okay with me.... More
