We had a fantastic meal at Dadong. The "Peking Duck" was pulled out of the wood burning oven carved at our table. The entire experience was amazing and the food was outstanding. One of the best meals we ever had.

Definitely a place to eat Peking Duck. The ducks are roasted in the center of the large square room and then carved for you table-side. All of the food - especially the duck - was great, and the service was also very good.

I have lived in Beijing for 4 plus years and for some reason the service at these premium Chinese places just sucks. They bring half the duck out right away. Then let us wait 1 hour for the other half without telling us. I was ready to go and they bring the other half out. Just drives me crazy. And... More

My favorite place in Beijing to have a Peking Duck. I have been to 3 Da-Dong restaurants in Beijing and they are all excellent and not too pricey.

We were traveling with our 16 y/o granddaughters and we enjoyed all our meals but this was a memorable one and it was on our last day of an 18 day journey. What a great way to end a fabulous trip with the best meal of all. This is a must do when in Beijing don't miss it! All the... More

We expected something spectacular. The duck was good, a bit pricey. Atmosphere is nice with good lighting and well laid out dining rooms. The service was so-so. You get that Beijing scowl, and what seemed to be a disdain for the tourists. The menu has awesome choices. Would like to have gone nuts with that. Overall, I would go back,... More

We arrived at this restaurant after a memorable day out to the Great Wall and Ming Tombs. Upon arriving, we were pointed to our table. We took off our coats and made ourselves comfy...no coat check btw. 5 minutes passed...then 10...no waiter introduction or recommendation...thirst building. We spent a few minutes looking at the over-the-top, pretentious, wanna-be-fine-dining, 100 page book/menu.... More
