Best Peking duck anywhere

This must be one of the finest Chinese restaurants in Beijing. It is also well located near Workers Stadium and the Salitun entertainment district. Our first dinner on our trip to China was very good, It spoilt a lot of other meals which could not live up to this. Try to enjoy early in uour tour as meals get very repetative as you go on.

One of the best meals on our trip to China. Advised to go there by John at Raffles. Food and atmosphere were great. Very busy and we were there 6.00 p m. Would advise booking. Two ducks for four people.

The duck is really good! And lean, as advertised. But you HAVE to ask a waiter to show you how to eat it! You order a side dish comprised of many little things that are supposed to complement the duck (and they do, perfectly), but if you don´t have someone show you what goes with what and how to prepare... This was the final dinner to cap a month of travel throughout China. The food was marvellous and we had no trouble choosing dishes from the photos provided to supplement our Peking Duck. We chose the upgrade version which came with lovely accompaniments and fruit dessert. The restaurant is elegant indeed but service rather lacking in friendly atmosphere. Still, we... More

My husband and I had dinner at this restaurant as part of tour package that we booked through a tour company. The restaurant was very elegant and the food was delicious, BUT... none of the staff spoke any English and they had NO English menus available. It made ordering, and understanding what we were ordering, very difficult. When we initially... More

I didn't realize that Peking Duck was so delicious! However the surroundings made this experience even better. Best restaurant experience in years...

The language barrier made it difficult to communicate. The food was good, the place is elegant but service was poor. The portions were small.
