Don't get me wrong, this is definitely a place to visit, but left feeling dissatisfied in the hunger department. The waiting staff were smiley, but despite the ipads, they could offer little assistance in what we should be ordering and how much. If you could go with a native speaker I imagine that this place would be wonderful, as we... More

Hai Di Lao is famous for its food quality (freshness) and very attentive, friendly service staff. Dining here is always a pleasant experience; no matter which Hai Di Lao you go in the world, whether it be in Singapore or other parts of China, their standards are always consistently high! Try their La Mien (They had staff pulling the noodles... More

Fun restaurant and great hot pot experience. You can choose your own sauce from a central table and then order the meat and veges you want from an iPad picture menu which helps with the language barrier. They provide protective covering for your coat and bibs to protect you from splashes . The quality of the meat and vegetables was... More

It's a hotpot restaurant known for its services. Food is clean and fresh. There are many kinds of sauces to mix your own sauce. Waiting staff is friendly. They would put a cover over your coat, so it wound not smell of the restaurant when you leave. They will also give you wet tissue to wipe your eye-glasses, and a... More

Read the reviews on Trip Advisor and had to make sure we visited when we were in Beijing. Restaurant doesn't take reservations but if you go early enough, it shouldn't be a problem. We were there at 5:30pm and had no trouble getting seats. Staff doesn't speak English but ordering on the Ipad was easy enough. The spicy is really... More

As it is often the case, visited the restaurant on the back of the rave reviews it gets on Tripadvisor and was happy to find out that all the hype was justified. From the get go, the waiting staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Get the impression that most of them don't really speak English but they make the best... More

Like several other good restaurants in Beijing, this restaurant is located in the top floor of a building housing a shopping mall. If you are not familiar with the preparation of Hot Pot food, the experience is unique. The food was delicious - well, if you manage to cook it properly - and in unlimited quantities. The staff was very... More
