By far the best hotpot

Haidilao is a hotpot chain found all around Beijing as well as in other cities around china. It is one of the best one I have been to. You can choose the flavor of you pot and usually we have one side non spicy and one side spicy. They have a separate bar where you can find and mix your... read more

We visited Haidilao in Beijng in April 2015. We enjoyed the hotpot experience. As with a lot of places in china, there is no real English menu. The menu has photo's of all dishes so it is not too big a gamble. I would warn any non-Asian visitor: the hot broth is really hot, like really really hot. But if... More

Good service and staff speaks some English. Probably my favorite Hai Di Lao in the city. Very popular place so might need to wait for a while but can entertain yourselves with board games.

It was prime time at Haidilao in Wangfujing District. You can feel the positive energy. I was seated first at small table in waiting area and served snacks and drinks. A short while later, I was seated at my table and ordered by iPad the sliced beef, mushrooms, tofu and mala spicy broth to cook in. It was perfect. Of... More

A famous hotpot restaurant and one of a chain of consistent standard. They are famous for a special operation philosophy of very personal service. Every Hai Di Lao is the same, and although the food is half-prepared it is not bad. The staff will be happy to show you the kitchen, and waiter and waitress behave like your friends. You... More

While you wait, you can get a manicure, haircut, entertainment etc., before being seated. There is a large selection of items to put into your hot pot. One side is EXTEREMLY hot with tons of chili oil with cups full of red chili peppers floating on top and the other side is mild. A bit expensive and the food was... More

One of the best meal I had in Beijing. The Ma La hotpot is so good. Very tasty and you can have two types of soup base if you are dining with non-spicy eating friend. The ingredients for the hotpot is really fresh and i personally recommend fish fillet, beef slices, mushroom pork ball and cuttlefish ball. Free flow of... More

Love the service so much I returned here 2 more times after last year Was shopping in the vicinity so I made reservations. This will save you a lot of waiting time as this place is crowded. Like very very crowded They give you aprons for your shirt, and ziplock bags for your phones to protect against any additional splatter... More

Incredible hot pot restaurant with exceptional service. Very popular - if there is a wait then prospective diners have a waiting area with free snacks available. The portions are large and the meat and veggies are great quality. The staff is attentive to the pot levels and client needs. Very appealing space though the area with the hot pots gets... More
