If you like curry, you like Ganges which offers variable choices of curry. If you end up to too spicy food then try mango lassi, that helps.

Ganges was a decent experience interms of dining Indian cuisine. Though the menu is quite comprehensive with lot of choices, i would recommend people sticking to the simple food, which is cooked quite ok. Though the preparation and the quality doesn't matches real Indian food, but it is close to what is expected of it, with Chinese being the main... More

What an experience !! Being a thorough vegetarian, I was extremely disappointed with the number of restaurants serving vegetarian in Beijing. This restaurant was quite a rescue after the morning debacle where we were served worms for breakfast :( Great food.... true to flavour... the dahi samosa chaat and the paneer curries were sumptuous.... So delighted were we, that we... More

On the second floor of the deserted Shi Mao building, Ganges is a very good surprise of excellent service, very attentive manager, large variety of very good food and a reasonable bill. Unfortunately the music from the video films is too high but a conversation is still possible. We will go back.

Good customer service is a rarity in China, even in a "Western" restaurant, so I was quite blown away by the amazing customer service I experienced at Ganges. In addition to the food being delicious, the manager was on the floor and really helpful. The waiter brought our appetizer after we had finished our entire meal and because we don't... More
