Ganges' lunch buffet is absolutely great. The price is extremely fair an the food that you get for it is very tasty. Recommended!

There are times when only a 'curry' will fit the bill, and yesterday evening my husband really wanted to 'go out for an Indian' as they say in the UK. We chose to go to Ganges which is in the basement floor of The Place (a huge modern complex in downtown Beijing) Ganges has a few branches in Beijing but... More

Well the manager impressed me showing his log book where all famous people has given compliment. And the food was really amazing. This is sardars restaurant so you can expect punjabi food. 😊

This place was recommended to me by my friend who is a vegetarian and was in china for 5 years. I went ahead and tried it out once and was unable to resist the craving for rest of my stay. Visited this more than few times. Amazing food and the ambience. The bollywood music in the background makes you feel... More

I came to Beijing on a business trip for around 40 days with some colleagues and getting vegetarian, as one can expect, turned out to b a tricky affair. Ganges turned out be our every day source for lunch because of the super friendly management. The manager even agreed to provide us 6-7 items at a subsidized rate if we... More

With an expansive menu of authentic Indian cuisine, predominantly northern, Ganges is probably the best Indian restaurant in Beijing. Their service goes the extra mile as they are willing to prepare and modify dishes that are not on the menu to cater to customers' tastes and requirements. Customers who are not fans of butter chicken or samosas might want to... More

When you see Indian people eating in an Indian restaurant, you know you can go there, and that is what you see at Ganges, they have a few of them in town. Atmosphere is not the best, could tend to be a little too kitshy but service and food are good.
