I'm no Indian food expert, but it tastes good

Great location in the basement of The Place. It's atmosphere is relaxing yet warm at the same time. The food is generally quick to serve, with delicious sauces that go well with their garlic butter naan. Only downside is that if feels as if it's getting more expensive, but maybe i'm eating more... read more

Great location in the basement of The Place. It's atmosphere is relaxing yet warm at the same time. Only downside is that if feels as if it's getting more expensive, but maybe i'm eating more local, so in comparison to a Chinese... More

The restaurant has nothing special itself and service its just ok but foodwise Ganges is definitely my favourite indian restaurants in town. I am vegetarian and the choice of vegetarian dishes here makes me feel like heaven, everything i´ve tried so far its absolutely delicious. My favourite is the soft panner with spinach curry. I consider portions big enough, you... More

We ordered some black label Whisky and tandoori chicken with samosas. Perfect start . The main course was lamb Roganjosh as recommended... More

This restaurant chain has 4/5 locations in Beijing and we happened to land in one of them which operates in side a mall. And also next day for dinner in another restaurant to celebrate birthday of one of us. We ordered Hara Bhara kebab and chilli chicken and paneer tikka for starters.Chilli chicken may sound chinese dish but if you eat... More

I was craving Indian, and read good reviews. Nothing we got sucked, nor was anything special. 282RMB or about $45USD for 2 people for dinner. I went on a Saturday (Sanlitun) night about 8PM and it was only 1/2 full (red flag!). Normally when I eat Indian in other countries, I get lots of small sides, but the small sides... More

My friend brought me here, because it is supposedly the best Indian restaurant in town. The list of curry dishes in the menu is indeed impressive. We each ordered one ... their taste was very similar, and also quite identical to any curry dish I got in a number of Indian restaurants. Each portion was tiny (the size of a... More

This place cooks food that is typical of central India, and boy does it cook them well. Everything here from the curries, to the tandoori oven baked dishes, to the fresh baked breads and lassi drinks is fantastic. It's the top Indian resto in BJ for a reason. The service is prompt and the staff is friendly, but none of... More

I am a vegetarian and food options in China are very limited for people like me. I just came back from a week long stay in Beijing and had lunch at this place everyday. There are a lot vegetarian options and the food is absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend the palak paneer and malai kofta. The owner, Vikram, is... More

Best food in average price. Best hospitality with good service. Good atmosphere. Try the yogurt and rasmalai in desert if you visit there. Murg masalam for the best tomatoe curry taste.

I have been living in Beijing for more than 6 months now and Ganges has become like a second home in Beijing. At least 4-6 meals in a week is must from Ganges. They have a great menu, which covers almost everything that you wish for. Every dish is delicious and few of them are better than what you actually... More
