My friends and I had brunch here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was lovely and the menu was great with lots of variety. The cocktails were delicious and the staff were super, would definitely go here again if I'm ever back in Beijing.

I went there with a number of colleagues recently and really enjoyed the lunch there. We were properly served and the food was very decent given the price. I'd come back for dinner for sure!

I went with my 9yo son off the recommendation of a friend. Wonderful food and amazing view. Our taxi driver could not or would not take us all the way there due to pedestrian only areas. So we had to walk the last block our two. Navigated on foot with google maps. Taxi's were waiting right outside to take us... More

After living in Beijing for a year this was a great relaxing brunch. We sat on the terrace and overlooked Tianamen Square. I had the lamb roast which was fantastic! To finish off my meal I had a delicious passion fruit tart. I believe the food was fairly priced for foreign food in Beijing especially in a unique setting. The... More

Well, it does have a interesting view, and a sort of nice pedestrian area to walk around after dimmer. But WAY to expensive for what it is! The food wasn't bad...but nothing was outstanding....except the price!

Not an easy place to find (taxi drivers either don't know it or don't want to go there due to road restrictions around Tiananmen Square) or get back to your hotel from. Nice bar area, but the decor in the restaurant area is not so good. Eclectic western menu. Our starters were bland, but the main course was better. Not... More

There are few quality, independent restaurants in Beijing. I'm sure that will change in time, but other than Sanlitun or various hotel restaurants there is little on offer. Capital M is different. Outstanding view, overlooking the Palace and Tiananmen Square which are beautifully lit at night until ~10pm. There are few places in. Beijing that exude genuine atmosphere and style... More

My wife and I had dinner at Capital M recently, prior to catching a show at the National Center for Performing Arts. This was our third time to the restaurant. Ambiance: The ambiance at Capital M is hard to beat. The views are amazing and face north towards the Tiananmen Square/Forbidden City. With the oversized windows, ambient light is not... More

Located just in the back of Tianamen square.... Great view of the Forbidden City from the balcony. Great place for hi tea in the balcony in the summer or Sunday brunch in the winter. Excellent pavlova, great service, very cozy atmosphere, interesting cutlery set. It is definitely one of the best restaurant in Beijing and Shanghai. The only tricky part... More

The setting is most romantic. Its housed in an old chinese building and the view from the restaurant is most beautiful. Service and food and ambience all is brilliant.
