As a European, it is always a bit of a surprise to find a restaurant of quality high up in a mall. The duck is truly great and the ambiance impressive. They have English speaking staff so don't worry about that. The only downside was that we were more or less forced to order a tasting menu as what we... More

I am not a great lover of duck but being in Beijing I thought I should try it. Staying at the Park Plaza so this restaurant is about a 5 minute walk on the 5th floor of a very swanky shopping plaza. We had a booking made by the concierge but we were 10 minutes early so had to wait... More

A beautifully-designed restaurant situated on the top floor of a swanky shopping mall. The duck ovens are situated in the centre of the restaurant, which provides some theatre as the chefs cook them. The girl who took our orders was very insistent that one duck wasn't sufficient for 2 people, so we would need a dozen scallops too. We agreed.... More

First, let's say that the roasted duck, the service and the presentation were very good. Appreciated the cook preparing the duck at our table. The reception was a bit of a disappointment. They didn't find our reservation, when they finally found it, we had to wait somewhere around the bar until a table was ready after our reservation time.

Went here for lunch because of its many recommendations. Duck was ok but ambience was lacking. Felt very touristy and groups orientated ( so much so that two of us had a table for six as it was the smallest available). Decor was like a cheap wedding banquet. Service ok and staff reasonably friendly and efficient. Lots of more interesting... More

Very good food quality, you have to wait a bit and tey don't bring desserts together, but the taste of food and how stylish it looks compensates everything. Must try beijing duck! The address here is incorrect,it pointed us to forbidden city entrance wall, it is actually situated in the beginning of wanfujing, across the bookstore an oriental plaza, at department store... Not a fan of duck but tagged along. Pleasantly surprised. The ambience was brilliant and the service was fantastic. The duck pancakes were intricate and masterfully demonstrated. We only ordered the duck but the meal concluded with a jelly like dessert and strawberries for dessert that we were not charged for. TIP: This place is usually booked out so there's... More

It is quite funny that you have to get to the restaurant through all of these very expensive shops - Gucci etc especially as we travel looking pretty basic!! Anyway the duck was good, although I wish we caould have tried to get more meat off the duck bones rather than what the chef carved off! The duck soup that... More

The restaurant is located close to the wangfujing area - in a very modern setting - so location wise it is pretty easy to reach. However it is better to reserve in advance - we went there without a reservation and were asked to wait in the bar area. 30 mins later - we were asked if we would join... More

The restaurant was good located in the 5 floor of a nice shopping center, and the ambience was nice, but the service was really bad, almost after we be sitted 30 minutes later the took our order for the drinks, then 45 minutes we waited for the waitress to order the duck and we had to wait also 10 minutes...
