Excellent restaurant owned by American/Chinese couple..fantastic food, clean, great service...Asian fusion food...loved it!

A must if you have visited this section of the wall. B prepared to pay tourist rates. Go with the menu of the day which has excellent food.

The food was excellent and portions were large. They serve good fresh food grown close by. We ate outside and enjoyed the Schoolhouse building. We did not see the glass blowing demonstation but heard it was interesting.

It's worth holding on and spending 10 minutes down to the School House. We had a great meal and the sun was out, so quite warm. The glass workshop was really interesting for the kids.

After a great walk atop the wall, we enjoyed Italian pasta, fresh garden salads and cappuccinos at Schoolhouse. A beautiful eco-tourism small hotel/restaurant at the site of an old village. The bathrooms were excellent and the glass factory was interesting. Don't succumb to fast-food at the wall!

After the busy wall, this proved to be something of a haven. I think they somewhat take advantage of this by charging high prices for reasonably good but unremarkable Western food. The Chinese options are very limited. A nice garden to eat in on sunny days.
