This is a nice Thai restaurant, with plenty dishes to pick from. The first night we got a very nice server. She was detail oriented and professional . We came back two more times after this, but we got a different server from the first time. The service was not good these times, but this is standar in Beijing. Do... More

As a Thai, I find the food very disappointing. I ordered Tom Yum Goong and Pad Kra Pao Moo (Stir fried Pork with basil) . The ingredients in the Pad Kra Pao are just plain wrong! Thai milk tea also tasted weird. I wouldn't go back. ไม่อร่อยที่สุดใน3โลก!!!

The food was pretty good, but the flavors were not quite authentic - not a Thai person in sight and the very basic, staple dish Pad Kaprow Gai (stir fried chicken with holy basil) is not on the menu! WHat?!? The menu is very extensive with a ton of options and feels much like a Chinese menu. They have waiters... More

We came to this restaurant as per excellent recommendations of our local friends... When we were served the food we understood why all tables around were occupied... the quality and taste of the food were excellent! we tried rice in pineapple, spicy fish soup and "vermicelly" with shrimps... all were prepared with care and were really very tasty. the restaurant... the food is really delicouis. I mean every dish that we had during the four visits, so far, have been superb. BUT if you happen to come at a bussy time, like saturday evening, the service could be better, A tad unfriendly, uninteressted and slow on taking the order. This didn´t happen during the week, when it was a bit... More

We went based on TA reviews. I will say its authentic but some dishes better than others. The Thai sausages were the best the salads good though swimming in liquid. The red duck curry was chewy and more vegetables than meat. Not quite value for money at 200rmb for lunch. The service adequate. The rooftop pleasant. But the sparrows eating... More

Very Siam, located cozily in a local "community", offers good Thai food in a warm, well-decorated atmosphere. Even on Sunday a Thai chef was on duty and the Thai manager took our order. For lunch we had a nice selection of dishes including sweet and sour beef, tasty papaya salad, fish cakes (bit too oily) and spicy green chicken curry!... More

The Very Siam (Fei Chang Thai) is tucked down a little lane across from a non-descript hotel just north of the second embassy district in Beijing, but after finding it (which takes some effort) you won't go to any other Thai restaurant in Beijing. It is simply the best. Have the Tom Ka Gai soup and the Thai seafood salad,... More

Was actually about to write a review for a hotel we stayed at recently. But the Very Siam review came up as a nearby location and I felt compelled to say something positive for this place. We've lived in Beijing for 3 years and nearby to this restaurant for two and I can easily say it is the best Thai... More
