Good Food

The place is a little hard to find if you're not familiar with the city and come by taxi or walking. Once you find it, it's like a modern chinese place. The food overall is really good, Beijing duck is the star of the menu and it lives up to expectations. Service as everywhere in China has a lot... read more

The food was simply excellent at this restaurant! The way they prepared and served the duck was breathtaking. We had several other courses as well. Many Westerners, but still feeling you are in China :-)

Billed as one of the few restaurants in Beijing that match western service standards the waiting staff were efficient but less friendly than other restaurants we'd visited. The duck was good but not exceptional, the price (especially of the wine list) was significant. Overall we wouldn't hurry back.

This former factory converted into an F&B complex cum art gallery is just great. It boasts some of Beijing's best restaurants, most of all Duck de Chine. The duck is excellent and not too greasy, presented with a twist on the sauces. The setting is beautiful, the other items on the menu were of vety high quality as well. Booking... More

Fancy restaurant with the Beijing duck as the main specialty. We made a reservation before and also ordered one duck to share (2). They make a small ceremony of cutting the duck and also showed us how to prepare the food on our plates, with sauce, thin pancakes and vegetables. Very attentive staff who refilled my tea continuously throughout the... More

this is an extremely elegant, stylish restaurant serving great duck and generally very good food. But.the service could be described as snooty. they ignored us for quite a while, nobody inquired if we were enjoying our meal, . just so much poorer service than the quality of the food and decor. Shame

This is the nicest Chinese restaurant I've been in for Peking duck. The food and atmosphere didn't disappoint, but the service is unfortunately on par with much cheaper places in Beijing. As others have said: for what you pay, it would be nice to have more friendly and attentive wait staff. Also, it's a little hard to find, so make... More

Great duck in a lovely atmosphere. Walk through the gallery take a bit of time to look around. Very nice wine list. Service was a bit cold and grumpy but the food and room made up for it. Very enjoyable. You should pre order the duck the day before.

We ate here in May 2015 and the food was amazing. The duck was as food as others have mentioned. Good wine selection and the decor / location was also lovely an oasis in the busy city.
