Yummy Yuppy duck

Duck is excellent (vetted by my duck loving Singaporean spouse) can serve up to 4 but cannot order 1/2 bird. Other dishes also quite tasty liked fresh walnuts we tried. The main French aspect is the champaign bar... More

This was a wonderful restaurant with our table right by the antique courtyard. Accomadating 5 of us, ages 9 - 72, we all loved it! We were pleasantly surprised at the wait staff's friendliness and ability to speak English - which was a bonus for us. When we made our reservation, which is recommended, we told the restaurant ahead that... More

I have eaten several times at Duck de Chine and have never been dissapointed. Food quallity is very good, service has always been professional, though not necessarily hearty. Their duck as their signature dish is great and absolutely recommendable. The only reason I give four stars instead of five is that the competition in Beijing has caught up and you... More

This charming restaurant is tucked away in a side street. I could highly recommend this restaurant for Peking Duck prepared to perfection. they have a comprehensive menu with many delicious additional choices, apart from a whole duck which we easily devoured between two of us, we ordered some wonderful appetizers. The service was exc lent, with additional help from the... More

The duck pancakes are divine. Ate here twice and it was fantastic each time. Great atmosphere, experience and delicious food.

Duck de chine was really one of the pioneers of upscale and upmarket peking duck. Unfortunately with the rest of the competition catching up, they have fallen behind in my opinion. The service is not as attentive as before, and the staff seem like they would all rather be somewhere else. That having said, it is still an impressive place... More

If you are looking for the BEST of Pekin duck, this is the place. We tried other restaurants for duck (Ex. Made in China) but none of them has nothing to do... The plum sauce is just perfect, the pancakes, the way they cut the duck, etc etc etc It's a must for your visit to Pekin.

I don´t usually like duck, but in Duck de Chine it was probably one of the best meals I had in all my trip to Beijing.

Situated in the 1949 courtyard in Sanlitun, this premium duck restaurant excells in decor. The food and service were not what I expected from a high priced roast duck place. Dishes took too long to arrive, and they were uninspiring. The prices are very high, making it not a good value.

The Peking Duck was phenomenal, as were all the other dishes. I don't usually eat duck, and I loved it here. We visited with a relative who speaks Chinese, so he did all the ordering. Everything was outstanding, including the service. The only comment is that our clothes did smell smokey when we left, a very minor inconvenience for such... More
