My girlfriend always wanted to try this restaurant, we really like Peking duck and we decided o treat yourself for a weekday date. We arrive there at around 20:30 the waiter just ask us to wait, we waited for more than 5 minutes when there where clearly table available. All the waiter were sort of distracted as they were cleaning... More

Absolutely appalled by the shockingly angry and aggressive level of service in this restaurant. The servers were rude, they reached over us to grab dishes, they were aggressive when they couldn't understand our Mandarin, & all the food was cold. There was spit on the floor, the kitchen staff ignored you when you were trying to get past them to... More

Of course we had the duck... it was unparalleled and I am grateful that the server showed us how to prepare the rolls ourselves (with the rice tortilla-like wrap, veggies and sauce). Presentation and service was outstanding, and the portions were very generous. This resto came recommended from a friend and I'm so glad we went. Warning: it's a little... More

We walked in from a very hot session on the tourist trail. We had to guide our taxi driver here as I reckon that there are more corporate clients akin to this place than real food enthusiasts. Got seated right away on table looking at the stone warriors.on the lawn. Get this: the waitress asks you if you will be... More

I have been to Duck the Chine (sanlitun location)many times for business dinner and (despite they NEVER had our table- well reserved in advance- ready), it was still acceptable because the place is very cool and serves a good duck (a sort of good combination with foreign guests). But the service has gotten terribly worse (and the food too).Save yourself... More

Third visit in 3 months, was made to wait for about 15 minutes at the bar despite advance booking at 7pm. The duck was delicious and very satisfying. Duck was cheap when compare with the RMB20+ each skewers. Not sure why the waiters keep attempting to take the half finished dishes away though.

Went there based on recommendations. As we were there early it is very quiet but the tables are filled up shortly after. Good duck and good food. Tried the cold dishes too. Very delicious. Worth the visit and moreover it is near wangfujing. Go for a slow walk after a sumptuous meal.

This is in a delightful setting in fairly central Beijing. Modern Cantonese and BJ food, especially the BJ Duck. We went for lunch, the food was great, very fresh and beautiful presentation with superb service. Old wooden type floors give that old feeling, with good lighting and windows out onto the Courtyard. Very nice venue, perfect for visitors.

Recommended by our Orchid Hotel staff, we enjoyed everything about this somewhat pricey restaurant. The setting was lovely, the staff attentive, and every dish we ordered, duck to the sides, was wonderful. Glad we went.
