I have been to a few other famous Peking duck establishments in Beijing but this is one of the more authentic n charming experiences . Walking into the hutong to arrive at the restaurant is alittle daunting in the beginning as it is dark and appears somewhat sketchy. This is comforted by the fact there are many residents still living... More

If you ignore or appreciate the Disney land aspects if the restaurant then you are in for a treat! The Peking duck was excellent, and the spicy pork amazing! The service was attentive, though confusing at times as they couldn't do enough for us. They offered us a tour if the restaurant etc. but we wanted to get out into... More

The restaurant is impressively huge. We walked for like 5 minutes until getting to our table, which was in a patio (officially other location but still accessible through the main one). We order 4 or 5 dishes and some beers and the bill was aroud 230 RMB per person (2). Great authentic food with a lot of locals drinking, shouting,... More

For the past year, we've been travel to Beijing a lot. And we took our clients and friends to this particular restaurant a lot. We always reserve a table at the courtyard and watch the show. The food quality is very good, I like the chicken, the duck and the signature cabbage.

We ate at Hua’s on our first night in Beijing due to the good Tripadvisor reviews and it was a great evening. I would always return when in Beijing! I reserved through their website and we got a table promptly. There is an open courtyard where the show takes place and we had a table there as reserved. The menu... More

We ate here for a business dinner to close the week and celebrate some new partnerships. We were placed in a room towards the back and had plenty of room for our party. The restaurant is very neat in how it is laid out and has several different options for seating, ranging from outdoor, to private rooms. The bathrooms were... More

The duck is really average. They have two different kinds-168 and 230 rmb per duck. We ordered the 230rmb which looked tasty, especially when it was being carved. It also came with a lot of condiments, which was different from lots of other duck place but the taste was just average. The skin wasn't very crispy and the meat for... More

We came for lunchtime and found the courtyard pleasantly calm and attractively decorated. The staff were incredibly attentive and we thought the duck was reasonably priced - 98 RMB for a half duck with all the trimmings between two. The toilets were gleaming. The atmosphere was relaxed and the service excellent, the food was good if not stunning and we... More

This was a good dinner, traditional Chinese. As there is a spectacle quite nice I recommend that you book in advance in the courtyard, in front of where the spectacle takes place, otherwise they will give you a table anywhere in one of the numerous rooms they have, and then, the experience loses a lot of its interest.
