This was a wonderful meal. I don't usually expect much from meals while on an organized tour. This restaurant was a fabulous surprise. Every dish was well prepared with super good flavors. They are know for their Peking Duck-not a favorite of mine but I did like this one, There were plenty of locals-always a good sign that this is... More

Despite being a globe trekker, I still enjoy a good tourist 'trap' when done well. Hua's Restaurant knows what a foreigner is looking for, traditional Chinese/Mandarin food at a fair price in a setting that looks great in photos. As a bonus they offer entertainment like noodle dancing, acrobatics, and magic. Really a safe bet for families, business people, or... More

Large airy courtyard restaurant with small traditional music group and excellent food and service. The Peking duck, lamb and chicken wings in paper (their specialities) are first rate. Great attentive service.

This is one of Beijing's best restaurant. Our hosts invited us to this place and the food is extra ordinary. We had the opportunity to watch some acrobatic and magic shows. The spicy small lobster is very delicious. The place is located in a row of restaurants with sidewalks fully occupied by customers. There is another branch of Hua's restaurant... More

When I was being taken to this restaurant by relatives living in Beijing who sweated by it... I was a little hesitant as the area was packed with eateries that no doubt were full with customers but appeared unhygienic. I was pleasantly surprised on entering this restaurant however as the setting is truly magnificent and reminded me of the Summer... More

For most of my 3 years living in Beijing, I have loved Huajia's signatura dish, the duck roll. It's true that food is not as good as it used to be but still it's quite nicely presented and not bad in taste. However, service has improved so much! Their level of attention to customer is much better tan many other... More

One of the many chinese restaurant you would never enter if not recommended...huge restaurant made of several buildings. very crowded, they do not take reservation after 7pm. Food is good, especially the peking duck, but do not look around or under the table.. try the caramelized fruit they offer you while you wait.. delicious

Best food we had in China, Peking duck is an absolute must, as well as the lamb cutlings served on deep fried peppers and it was an experience to watch as the chef prepares/plates your duck. They actually also have a wine list. Extensive menu and great service. We were at the one in the Chaoyang district.

I came here for the duck. I liked the duck and their menu so much, I came back the next day to try some more items. The atmosphere downstairs is an airy courtyard. Upstairs, there are many comfortable booths, although it does seem a little too casual for a nice restaurant. Their menu has some classic chinese dishes, but also... More

Our last night in Beijing we decided to taste real Beijing duck. We asked many people which place is the best, but most of them was warning us from going to Wangfujing as many Lonely Planet and Rough guides recommends. Because we stayed at Dong Si and day before we went for a walk to Dongzhimen street we decidet to... More
