Made in China had a great ambience and famous for its Peking duck from previous reviews. Peking duck was good with nice presentation and not too greasy. However, the pancake served was not hot enough and dry on the edge. The spicy sliced potato was great which is a recommended dish in this restaurant. Food was good overall but there... More

We went here for lunch, since it’s a restaurant that my hubby has been to many times and loves. Liked it so much that we ended up going for dinner too (the fact that it was raining and we happened to be staying in the hotel helped too). They offer pretty substantial set lunch (it includes Peking Duck) which looked... More

This is possibly one of the finest restaurants in this wonderful city. The preparation, presentation and service are exemplary and the Peking Duck is outstanding. The staff are very helpful to assist with a menu which is varied and interesting. If you go to this restaurant go and observe the open kitchen which allows you insight into the culinary skills... This place used to be a MUST for me, but I was slightly disappointed this time around. Of the three "peking duck" dishes I had in Beijing this time around, Made in China's would have ranked last...which is not what I would have expected. Did they change the chefs?!

My girlfriend and I wanted some authentic duck while staying in Beijing, while this wasn't our first choice (they had run out of duck!) I was happy to pick it from the consistent good reviews on here and elsewhere. We ordered a so called special green tea from the menu and I saw this being prepared to the side of... More

Peking Duck is their speciality, this is THE place to try it in a very stylish and cosy atmosphere. With Hyatts well trained stuff and attention to detail, this experience never fails to impress

We went to Made in China for lunch, and absolutely loved it! Every cooking stations sits behind a glass and you can see the kitchen staff work....it is not uncommon, but here they work following the old fashioned customs! And it is fascinating to watch. The food was excellent, the portions ample and the place very busy! The wine list... More

Great place to taste the famous Peking Duck. Arrived without reservation, but warmly welcomed by the director of Food and Beverage, who did his best to find a table for us. The chef comes to present his Peking Duck in front of you and the waiter explains the three styles to taste it. I'd say this place is kind of... More

And there's no bones about it. I've lived in Beijing for six years and Made in China remains as my favourite restaurant. One to impress visitors, celebrate momentous occasions, or when you're simply craving for a great duck. The duck is served with seemingly unusual condiments- pounded garlic, dark sauce (which I think is Hoison but not exactly), sugar, radish,... More
