However, my African companions were so bowled over by everything there that they became regular patrons of the restaurant every Sunday. The food is authentic Indian but palatable for those who are used to lower quantities of spices provided the same is... More

This is probably one of the oldest establishment serving Indian food in Mombasa. we visited at the Lunch time. It had air conditioned and non-air conditioned section. We had our meal in air-conditioned section. We ordered Aubergine bhartha, Stuff paratha, Sarson ka Saag and Makai di roti with salted lassi. It took more that 30 minutes to get our order.... More

The food here was well priced and delicious. Th Goan Fish Curry was our highlight. We were lucky enough to get a table without a reservation, but were told booking is usually a must. There were lots of Indians eating there, which is always a good recommendation. Lovely and cool too with good air con, and friendly staff. A Mombasa... More

reserving a table three days earlier, we went there as group of four. Me, my boyfriend, Mother and our driver. The first impression was good, because the askari was keeping an eye on our driver's car, so that he could join our dinner. Secondly, our waiter was really friendly and the starters came as quickly as we were eating them!... More

We went there on Sunday evening and the restaurant was half filled with customers. The waiter took down our orders but forgot to bring our roast papads. He did bring them when prompted. For some reason there was no music in the restaurant which resulted in lack of ambience. The food was very good especially the Pepper wings and the Mari... More

Coldest beers in town. What else could complement the exquisite curries? Chilli chicken for starters and their signature chicken curry were my fav !! Charming and cheerful environment. Choices are to suit all palates. Chapatis flow as you chew through the delicious flavours. Call in. Care to try :)

The last time I went to Mombasa, my husband took me to Singh restaurant. Walking into this unassuming restaurant, I thought I knew what to expect. I have been to so many punjabi restaurants, but boy was I surprised. The staff were so welcoming. The service was fast, which is wonderful when you have children with you. But the best... More
