Great place!...it takes a while to get to the table but once it does you will keep licking your fingers!! Just wonderful personal service makes you feel at home! The lobster and Jumbo prawns is a must try for all the sea food lovers. So much and so lovely food and service and the prices are very pocket friendly. No... More

Very reasonably priced for nicely done seafood -- especially the grilled items (the garlic prawns were not so garlicky or exciting.) Not fancy, but comfortable. Right on the seafront, so prep for a steady breeze. Was pretty slow (>90 minutes) so just factor that in (especially if you have children with you, as we did -- most of the kids'... More

Sloooow service but I really enjoyed the food there. The Bahjyas with the dippings are a must especially the cococnut, the fish paka is the best there! Also the mango-passion shake.

Once we tried the coconut shakes at the Olympic, we were ruined. No other coconut shake could compare and we went back almost daily. Their seafood is fantastic and everything is really well priced. It's a great casual place that's fun to go back to again and again. Highly recommended!

The food was about average here and the owner was very nice. There was only one other group in the restaurant, but it delayed our meal about 1.5 hours! No blender for their juices either

I just popped in for a plate of chips shortly before 10:00pm and the waiter said they wouldn't mind delivering to my hotel after they were done preparing my order.I was quite surprised by this and i vowed i would return on the next day to sample their menu.Right from then i have always had my meals in this little... We LOVE seafood, and the lobster and king prawns that we had here were the **best** that we have ever had, anywhere in the world! It was SO fresh, and very simply but expertly grilled. One day I will go back to Lamu (from the U.S., 24 hours away by flight) just to eat there again. To boot, it is... More

Simply fresh seafood and home kind of cookings made by the family running the restaurant. Fancy Jumbo prawns or Lobster or even fresh red snapper this is the place to go.

On our second trip to Lamu, we returned to Olympic as we'd enjoyed it so much last year, Last year's great waiter had returned to school and the management was new. The juice drinks were still great but the food was not as good as last year. Fish was always fresh but most dishes were bland, even the normally spicy... More
