Have been eating every month and never been disappointed. Service is excellent, best poussin chips, kebab roll and chooza chicken in town with delightful sauces at an affordable price..
The one thing i really miss about nairobi is the chooza chicken served at Hashmi's.. it is something unique that i have not found anywhere else.. When we were in nairobi our friend kept on insisting us to go visit the place so we did and then kept going there repeatedly as our trip was just one week long and... More
Hashmi's is a barbeque restaurant with a range of bbq beef, chicken and fish. All are good quality, a affordable. The atmosphere is nothing special, but staff are plentiful and friendly
Atmosphere: dont expect anything too flash here, perfect for a quick meal but not a place for a quiet dinner with ambience. Food: huge variety for non-veg, adequate for vegetarians, great flavours although can be very spicy in the main. Price: good value for money with reasonably large servings
Staying in and having a full meal is great, but taking out one of their 'Rolls' is definitely the move. Perfect for lunch or a quick dinner on the go; there aren't that many good places around the area that offer that!
We have been to this place several times and we love the Chicken Chooza and veg rice very much. The prices are reasonable. Nice place to visit with family and friends. This is my wife's favorite place too.
Best place to taste barbeque recipes in Nairobi.Whenever we visit there we always order for chicken chooza. It is the best out of all delicious available at Hashmi. One more advantage of Hashmi is that its not very costly and always worth for the money. The place is a bit crowd always but they always try to provide best service possible.
Just went there today. Their barbeques are excellent. Had their poussin chicken and beef mishkakis with their naan pasted with a light layer of butter.Great value for money and huge portions. Excellent customer service and it didn't even take long for our order to come.
One of the best, perhaps the only one you would end up visiting time and again, if you are in Nairobi. On our latest visit for a Ramadhan Iftar turned out to be a pleasant surprise when we were served with Ajwa Khajoor, Zam Zam water - chicken samosas , spring rolls - and arabic tea all "Complimentary" courtesy Hashmis'.... Another place which is like our second kitchen. We go here almost every two weeks and since last 4 years have been eating the same dishes but still would continue going there till I am there in Kenya. The food is just good, may be because it suits my taste buds.
