We were in Kenya this summer. This location was close to where we stayed and we visited the Java House several times a week! We loved the service and the food and coffee!

We had a great lunch at the Java House. I ordered a streak that was done well but too much for me to eat. The guys at my table fought over who got to finish it. The prices were resonable and the service fine.

Every morning I get my Java House coffee, which is my favourite chain coffeehouse in the world (I have one-offs that I prefer in various cities). The breakfast is also good though I have yet to be able to finish an omelette. Nice atmosphere and great service.

Every time I get to Nairobi I call into Java House for breakfast or sometimes in the aftrenoon for a coffee with a newspaper. I like to explore various types of foods when travelling and don't mind eating traditional food for days on and on, but in the end it is a welcoming change to eat something familiar in a... More

Really good food and drinks. Free WiFi (somedays when it is overcrowded they close wifi for one hour, so be aware!)

I spent a semester in Kenya in 1999. Java House was in its beginning stages and became our go to place when we were homesick and wanted some American style coffee and snacks to get us through those occasional tough days (American products weren't quite as widely available 12 years ago as they are now - I was amazed to... After having travelled all over Kenya for three weeks, we were delighted to have lunch at the end of our trip at Java Coffee House where we had a great choice of western food. Fresh, cooked well and great variety. Reasonably priced too. Hamburgers were great. When it's crowded, they ask you to share tables and we met a lovely... More

I love the milky strong coffee, the quiches, pies, and breakfast burritos. It is a coffee shop with food. The food is good hearty breakfast and lunch fare, a couple of dinnerish dishes but I don't know anyone who has ever ordered any of the dinner items. Toasted sandwiches, burgers, milkshakes, and such.

Great chain, incredibly friendly staff who actually talk to you as a real person. Coffee is always too milky, even a double in a single sized glass. It drives me crazy. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Homefry Heaven though. To die for.
