I much prefer my coffee in Kenya made in Meru where it is grown .Made in a simple primitive no frills way using an old frying pan and a hammer to prepare the beans at the base of Mount Kenya

Nice little coffee house located across Nairobi. They have a good selection of coffee and food. The fresh juices were good as well the burgers and the pancakes for the kids. Prices are reasonable for a town such as Nairobi. Service was fair and we didn’t have to wait too long for our food.

I have visited Java house many times as I live in Nairobi. The first times I came there I was quite happy with the food, but over time it has lost its interest. The food is quite poor and simple and there are many better options in Nairobi in that range and with that ambiance. E.g. Art Cafe

Went to Java ABC for breakfast with family (5 nieces & nephews). 4 milkshakes and 2 coffees took 18 minutes to be delivered. Food order took 35 minutes. One order was wrong (fried eggs instead of scrambled). When we asked for the eggs to be changed, we were told the kitchen was busy and the wait would be long, so... More

Went with my friends and it had a really homely feel , we had lunch, finished our projects and then snacks at four . .We giggled and laughed plus finished most of our projects.Prices and service were really good.FOOD WAS TOO GOOD.It needs to improve on its vegeterian variety but the mushroom steak ,totally delish.NICE PLACE.

Considering the amount of coffee produced in this country, it still surprises me that most Kenyans prefer the Nescafe instant stuff to real, delicious Kenyan beans. This is where Java comes to the rescue. It's as good as or better even than any coffee shop in the US. Try the Malindi Macchiato. Their food is a nice comforting taste of... More

The quality of Java food and service are consistent. All their outlets are very well run and you are assured of Java's quality every time. Great for quick meals, snacks, coffee and the best ginger, lemon and honey in town!

Java is a chain of coffee shops around Nairobi. I have visited their shops at the Junction, Sarit Centre, Koinage st, and the one opposite the Twentieth century. These coffee shops are great to meet friends for coffee, brunch, or a light lunch. They can get quite busy during lunch time. I had the pancakes with syrup, for breakfast, and... More
