The Sarit Centre is located up the Westlands. The Java House here is on the ground floor, around to the left from the main entrance. There is some seating outside along the corridor, and a lovely restaurant. The food and drinks are excellent and the staff were friendly and efficient. Java House was my favourite eatery in Nairobi and the... More

coffee is good, good kid's menu, quesadillas are a little greasy but come with good guacamole. the milkshakes are tasty, and they make excellent carrot cake. Have visited about 12 times without ever getting sick from food poisoning, which must be a record for me in Nairobi.

Actually, I do not drink coffee! But they have so much more. My favourite breakfast/brunch is fruit salad with yoghurt , nuts and honey and their banana smoothies are legendary! I had my first Java House smoothie in 2009 and I rave about them still. I return to Java House on each visit to Nairobi.

Java is a great place to chill out with friends after a long day or on a lazy Sunday afternoon, and enjoy their diverse menu. I personally love their grilled chicken - yummy, and they usually have good fresh juices (which is better than drinking soda anytime). Java is reasonably priced and the service is good - waiters always friendly... More
