Good looking dining rooms, bar and outdoor space and good welcome. Nice pre-starter starters of pitta bread with chilli and lethal garlic dips and pickled vegetables, two tasty and generous aubergine starters (Baba Ghannouj and Eggplant Salad- which I know as Mutabal), but then the disappointment set in with the main courses we chose: Meat Arayes- although nicely spiced minced... Decent quality, a bit plain as an environment but the service is of decent standard. It's not place to rave about but if you want something in Nairobi a little different then it fits the bill. Above average price. Worth a try

We have always enjoyed the hearty Lebanese dishes here and the ambience is nice too. It can be a little pricey for what it is though.

I have been in Cedars 4 or 5 times in 2013. Last time in Januany 2014. I was living in the area and some of my friends too. Food is good. I am vegetarian. Wine is acceptable (quality) and not acceptable (price is times 5 compared with europe). Ambience is poor despite the house could be very nice. Norvegian owner... More

Food is good. Price is bit high, but for good food better to spend good money. They also serve too much food. Watch out!!! Please is nice and clean. Good for high end eating.

Very good food. Consistent and good service. They have a nice bouncing castle for kids with a minder which is a definite plus. Have never come back feeling disappointed. We never go beyond the hummus and pita and shish taouk, but there exists an exhaustive menu waiting to be tried.

The proprietors have definitely made an effort to cater for anyone in need of authentic cuisine, be it a nostalgic Lebanese away from home, the adventurous food enthusiast, a company of friends or business partners or a family in need of a good meal and a good time. The service is great and friendly and the atmosphere is as dynamic... More

The fact that the who is who in the city frequents this establishment makes the management and staff think they're 5 star and become arrogant and rude. The first time i visited i was driving a simple Toyota and the watchman wouldn't let me in,he insisted that i park outside. All this while, people in Range Rovers and other high-end cars were... Cedars has fantastic food, but having spent 3 years in Liberia (yes, Liberia: he economy is pretty much run by Lebanese...), it was nothing special and the prices are way too high. But I guess they must be doing something right judging by the number of Mercedes, Landcruisers and even a Hummer in the car park. It must also once... More

We recently dined at Cedars with friends. It is a Labanese restaurant, so dishes mainly focus on red meat. Even though I got use to slow service here in Kenya, this was over my limit! At one point we all found ourselves staring at the kitchen door! We gave our order for appetizers right after we arrived, but they have... More
