A floral pocket of puffy pillows, tasty plates and delicious drinks, I just adore the Tin Roof Cafe!

We love the Tin Roof café. We lived just behind it, so we know it well. Fabulous salads and smoothies. A good coffee machine would be appreciated. Can't always get a table as this is a small café, but wait and you'll enjoy your lunch! Wifi too!

The salads were fresh and crunchy. Excellent variety, the quiche just freshly baked and the minty chocolate perfrect for the cold weather. Lovely lunch....

I really like the casual, intimate and tasteful ambiance of this little place - its pretty different for Nairobi (I am not in agreement with the reviewer who said it was typical of casual restaurants in the area). Granted the chairs are not that comfortable - a flat cushion would help, but the overall feel is jolly nice, a bit... More

Whether you are 're having breakfast or lunch it's a great small cafe with a difference. Enjoyed several meals here including the baked fish with the ottolenghi salad bar.to round it off was a double chocolate mousse which was just perfect.

We were curious why this restaurant was suddenly ranked #1 in Nairoibi when it is fairly new to the restaurant scene in Karen, just outside of Nairobi proper. We stopped to check it out and found the atmosphere to be cute but noisy due to the location next to a main roadway. The shabby chic decor is sort of sweet... More

I came across this restaurant on tripadvisor, looking for a new place to take my children for a Saturday lunch. We have done most restaurants in Nairobi and was hunting for a change. For a change, we got a change. The place is a short distance form our house and we NEVER noticed it all these years we have lived... More

After a few years in Nairobi, I have finally found a place that has good food - great salad bar - , great atmosphere, feels cozy and comfortable, is quiet and has good food. If you are looking for the little "around-the-corner-cafe" this is it. A place to become a regular. El mejor rincón escondido de Nairobi. Después de varios... More

First of all, one of the things I appreciate most about the Tin Roof Café is that it's not in a mall, as so many of Nairobi's eateries are. Instead, it's set amidst trees and gardens, not dressed up, but chic. Thought has been put into the interior, with photography on the wall and a book swap ready for a... More
