Charming and kid friendly

I love eating on a porch with a black board menu. The staff were kind and patient with my toddler's incessent attempts to join them in the kitchen. The food was lovely, particularly the salads. Overall, a wonderful lunch with good friends and food.

We went to tin roof cafe on a Sunday afternoon and it has a wonderful garden setting. The place is simply put together, nothing fancy about the decor, table or chairs. The menu is small and simple. They have an open salad bar concept that comes with the main dishes and the salads were all creative and tasty - a... More

after ten days of only eating fish, the Tin Roof Cafe's burger was like manna from heaven. I loved the shops as well.....shopping and food under one roof ....PERFECT

We were looking for a laid-back place to have a light Saturday lunch with our 3 year old and my Dad, and we made the right choice. The food was very fresh, healthy, and the salad bar choices were many. For dessert we especially enjoyed the carrot cake. Our daughter had fun in the play area and I was impressed... More

Stopped by for lunch Friday, had a absolutely fantastic burger, I'm quite unused to people mixing the mince with anything but the onions and herbs they mixed with the patty made the taste really leap out, the salad wasn't as diverse as i've read from other reviews and it really is a tiny place but couldn't fault it on service... Thought this a very relaxed and 'easy' place to sit with a paper, enjoy your coffee and bite to eat. The service was good, the food was good, the coffee was good - not much else to say apart from its well worth a visit!

Perfect for a lunch in the garden. Healthy, fresh, affordable and really, really tasty. They also have a playground for the kids and some beautiful shops. The bookshop has the best selection of kids books I have seen in Nairobi. Whatever you order, be sure to get the salad too!

thhis dear little cafe is like a little oasis. The setting is fabulous. The staff are smiley and can't do enough for you. You can enjoy freshly cooked food and have the choice of all the salads which are just amazing .... so unusual and so fresh. Its a great place to hang out with the paper sipping on the... More

Good food and service hidden from view from the main road. Cafe has several crafts stores located in the same building.
