Tamambo B&G was recommended by work colleagues - specifically as the 'go to' place in Nairobi for hamburger connoisseurs. There was no disappointing here and the Fully Loaded Hamburger was scrumptious - will some interesting toppings and AWESOME value for money. With a great upper deck location, coldest beers and excellent service Tamambo is well worth a visit.

Dined here with our 4 kids. Based in a secure shopping complex with easy access. Good selection of dishes for all tastes. Attentive service, good cocktails and wine list. For a casual night out, Tawambo is an excellent choice.

I used to love Tamambo especially when it was in Westlands. The food was great, service was good, decor was wonderful. When it moved to Village Market things just went to hell. The menu changed for the worse. Whoever redid the decor should really be shot and shouln't refer to him or herself as a decorator. Recently I dedided to... More

Felt average and over-priced. I don't see the hype really. Id recommend you eat there just for the experience and the ambiance.

Nice place for casual drinks and tapas in Village Market. I prefer to there for casual meetings and drinks than full dinner, but either way, you will enjoy it.

I stopped into Tamambo for a lunch break while shopping at the Village Market. I sat outside in the non-smoking section. There were a number of people smoking hookahs in the smoking section, but the smell did not drift over. I had the vegetarian combo consisting of tomato bruschetta, khalloumi bruschetta, a spinach and Camembert samosa, Mediterranean crosstie, hummus, and... More

I won a dinner for two as part of the local supermarket contest at any of the tamarind group restaurants. We decided to opt for this one, due to its proximity. I ordered pepper steak, and got extreme stomach cramps and high fevers. I was diagnosed with severe bacterial infection, and was told to detox the body for one week.... More

I went to Tamambo yesterday to eat the Tajine but was was served three pieces of chicken in a dark sauce of dubious provenance and a small dish of couscous. Vastly overpriced and nothing at all like a Tajine - the restaurant does not even have a Tajine pot! Way below the standard expected from Tamarind Group and why do... More
