We had dinner with a couple of Kenyan friends, the food was excellent, and very good value for money. It serves African style food from different parts of Kenya, including some Indian style such as samosas and biryiani. All very tasty. It ranges from adventurous stuff such as fried ants, to dishes more acceptable to a western palate such as... More

Amaica Restaurants, with focus on the newest located at the JKIA airport, terminal 4, Nairobi, Kenya, simply brings out the best of African dishes. Be advised to visit hungry as the food is finger-licking delicious. The service is warm and friendly and the decor completes it.

Part of our travel group wanted an authentic Kenyan meal and our hotel Concierge recommended Amaica Restaurant. We were there the first week in Sept, 2014. Our waiter recommended a seven course meal in which each course would be from a different region of Kenya. Our first course (Appetizers) included termites amongst other things. The food was good and the... More

If you're looking for traditionally cooked African food served with class, this is the place to be. All that you're looking for authentically served and prepared, you'll be taken on a journey through how the food is prepared and which part of Kenya it comes from. Enjoy!!!

Occasionally one is blessed by finding a really wonderful restaurant and Amaica is one of these wonderful restaurants. Situated in an oasis of green , away from the bustle of Nairobi, you can sample traditional Kenyan food. Pamela Muyeshi is proud of the variety of Kenyan food ( thanks to the 42 tribes) and her daily buffet changes to reflect... More

We visited Amaica Westlands on Easter Saturday and were blown away. The service was excellent and our server understood the dishes and was able to make very good recommendations. We had the fried beef with Chapati, Whole Fried Tilapia with Brown Wimbi Ugali and traditional greens. The food came in a very timely manner - a half hour from ordering... More

Visited with a group of 6 friends, most of all who've suffered extreme food poisoning. Avoid! Service was poor and staff had to be repeatedly reminded about orders. Food portions were not that great considering the prices and the food was not tasty. Overall a very poor dining experience further exacerbated by the food poisoning.
