It get's mighty busy on the weekends, so beware the wait for your food, however it's worth it. Their sandwiches are some of the best, the Philly specials are perfection in a panini. Though small, the quality is consistent and some of the tastiest peri peri chicken around!!

Only had a salad here but it was fresh and tasty... my friend had calamari .. fresh and so tasty with the best homemade chilli sauce have ever tasted! Would be nice if they sold that so you could take it away! The actual butchery just behind the butchery is amazing... everything so clean and such a variety to choose... More

The juices here are good, and they have an good selection, recommended,. However, the food is decidedly less so. This time I ordered sashimi, and while the salmon was good, the tuna was definitely off.

These purveyors of 'fine' food will (in our recent experience) sell you a leg of lamb on Saturday which, the following Thursday - and having been in the freezer - was tonight green, very slimy and putrid. When I took it back and pointed out that I was a 20-year customer their only rejoinder was to point to the sign... More

This is my 5th visit to this shop once in 4 months and each time the meat were found to be bad on each purchase and had to be thrown away .I brought 10 kg of chicken and beef and got home in 10 min drive and found it smelling of gone off meat , it had to throw them... More

I really like the sandwiches there. They used to do a really nice chilly garlicky sauce which for some reason they have stopped. One of the better choices at the Village Market food court.

I cannot understand why some people are saying one can buy fresh meat in Prime Cut... unless we define what 'fresh and good' really means... I have bought chicken tighs twice and when I opened the package at home, the whole kitchen smelled rote chicken! Also, I bought what they called 'fillet standard' and it had to be cooked 1... More

The service and quality are OK without being anything great. The steak was fine but the sides looked and tasted as if they had been under the warmer for awhile. The budget choice for a steak at the Village market.

I believe Prime Cuts has the best quality meat in Nairobi, along with a great selection of cheese and seafood. They are however not the most helpful, if its not "on the shelf" you have to convince them to give you the cut of meat you want, they won't take orders for something they don't stock (I asked for rabbit...
