Artcaffe as a chain has managed something no other restaurant has in Nairobi - they have created a stylish and contemporary feel in all their branches. Their food is fairly consistently good (I do wish for more exciting salads though), their coffee excellent. They serve their wine in lovely glasses though I find Chardonnay an odd choice for house wine.... More

Lovely for coffee, lunch, breakfast but especially the amazing cakes! Really nice staff and an ideal meeting place.

The fresh bread is simply the best in Kenya! The staff are efficient and the service is excellent. There is good variety and you are never left waiting too long.

I met 4 Kenyan friends for lunch in January at Art Caffe. They were little reluctant to meet at Art Caffe claiming they always get terrible service because they are Kenyans. I did not belive it until I saw it with my own eyes. My friends were little ahead of me as I was fininshing my phone call. They walked... More

Despite some reviews this is worth a visit. The service was not intrusive and was very efficient. I had some minor requests to adjust the the food order with no problem Yes it is busy with local Asian and expat families but that make no difference to the ambiance in fact pretty cosmapolitan. No it ain't Europe but a good... More

Went to Art Cafe with a group of eight. I ordered their version of a frappuccino, which tasted pretty good - the coffee was not too sweet - but came with ice cubes rather than being a blended drink.

If you are in Nairobi, a trip to the Village Market is a must (visit on a Friday and you can go to the Masai Market which is held there every week). The Village Market itself is a destination, a great outdoor market concept, much nicer than any other shopping mall in Nairobi (or any ordinary mall anywhere, for that... More
