Hamdi is in the city centre so it's a great place to catch up with friends for lunch or coffee. If you have a cold, their concoction of ginger, lemon and honey (daawa) is quite a relief to the throat. They have fresh cakes and if you ever wanted to try camel meat, this is the place to do... read more

The ambiance is amazing-but only the one on the balcony as you look at the road. The inside is okay...the seats are quite old and the ambiance is quite boring given the dark lights and no background music. The management could think of upgrading it to the inside. The food is so pathetic I have tried several on the menu and truly there... We ordered a fruit salad with nuts and honey, and a sandwich chicken and something. The sandwich came on nice bread, the meat was good. It lacked flavor and we had to add mayo and other condiments to give it flavor. The fruit salad was outstanding. Fresh fruit with roasted nuts (from a pack) but nothing can go wrong with... More

If you like Somali food, you will get exactly that here. Very clean too. Try their Arosto with Pilau. Enjoy!

A must visit if you want to try authentic Indian delicacies. The price is on the higher side but still it's quite crowded. Go for traditional Indian cusine.

Very lively and comfortable ambience filled with locals. Best fruit smoothies I've ever had. Staff was attentive and food better than expected. Would recommend the outdoor seating on the balcony to watch the busy city life pass by below.

My husband and I, then boyfriend asked me out for coffee one evening. He had planned we have it in a famous cafe in mama ngina street Nairobi. But he changed his mind and we decided to check this place out. To our surprise its a very comfortable place, clean with an overlooking balcony for fresh air and the staff... More

This is the kind of place that reminds you that food is meant to be part of life and not just what the body needs to stop feeling hungry. You keep tasting it hour's after you left the place :)
