I went to the Zen Garden for a business lunch and was blown away by the tranquil and well kept surrounds and interiors. The food was delicious and very well presented. However, the service left room for improvement regarding the lack of haste.

Lovely scenic place. They have used bamboo very well. the food is lovely and freshly done. The waiters are polite. Ideal for a quiet Sunday afternoon with the family.
The food was average and not worth the price. The place is also tucked away and difficult to get to for most of the people in Nairobi. However, that being said, they have furnished and set up the place very well. It's a trendy place to grab a drink, but wouldn't recommend forking out the money for the food.
Excellent food with a fabulous ambience, probably one of the excellent restaurants I have visited in Nairobi, definitely a good place to spend a couple of hours with family and friends. Would like to keep visiting as long as they keep the good food coming!
An excellent place to done ambience good service perfect.all you need is patience as you sip your drink
their food is quite exquisite.... their pizzas are awesome... and their thai food is delicious... they make lovely coffees and shakes and ice teas.

Since I said I had missed eating burgers she told me she knew just the place....having patronized Zen...

The pizza oven/bakery has an assortment of light meals that can be enjoyed indoors, in the garden restaurant or by the bouncing castle (great for kids). The other restaurant - Bamboo, provides tasty Asian cuisine...

I've lived in Nairobi for a year and a 1/2 and eat here all of the time. It is a little on the pricey side but it is SOOOO good. I get the basil chicken all of the time and the chicken is always cleaned perfectly (no gristle, rare in Kenya) The garlic rice is really yummy with it. I...
