The food is just delicious - everything from the starter to the dessert, the service is great and the ambience is really pleasant.

Second time I stayed there. It was a business trip and we used one of the conference room. Great rooms. Great team. Great food! Would recommend to anyone going to Nairobi.

Just heard a dinner with some of the clients at Norfolk Hotel in Nairobi and the food was awesome. I ordered the Kitengela Chicken which was one of the best chicken/food eaten at a five start restaurant/hotel. Service was Superb and top class as we had our allocated our own waiter and he was around all the time. Overall 5... More

Just like in Europe, paying for internet access is becoming unacceptable. Paying (eating / drinking) customers should be provided internet access FOC.

This is the grand old hotel of Nairobi, and it feels like it. The cottages have gone but the rooms have been sensibly modernised, and the restaurants are still welcoming and attractive. Right next to the university, which makes it an active location, but not at all threatening.

Too miss a meal at either the Lord Delamere Terrace, or the more upmarket Tatu, at the Norfolk whilst in Nairobi would be a huge mistake. If you can't afford to stay at this 5 star hotel, at least treat yourself to a meal there. I had the best barbecued Lobster I'd eaten in years at the Tatu. From the... More

Have been twice in recent weeks, once for lunch once for drinks in the garden. I get the feeling it is trying to be something it isn't anymore and at this price range one just expects more. Certainly not to sit for over 20 minutes before being served or acknowledged and this wasn't for lack of staff walking around. They... More

The international cuisine at Tatu in The Norfolk is masterfully prepared. The atmosphere is modern and the service was well.... almost flawless. It is pricey but well worth it.
