Great food to be had at a reasonable price in the food court with most international dishes represented. The shopping can be pricey however the supermarket is the expception to this.

Village market in Nairobi is one of the best places for food, shopping and some good time with friends. I have visited Village market for 3 times during my business trip to Nairobi and always found this place energetic. One can see the live music performance. There are several restaurants in the village and they serve different varieties of food.... More

Village Market is a great place to shop and meet up with friends. The open air adds a refreshingly different outtake to the typical indoor shopping mall and adds to the enjoyment of ones' experience. The shops are high end, catering more for the UN, diplomats and high income people. There is a bowling ally, cinemas and a water slide... More

Always going back to the VM because it has something not in any other mall in Nairobi. Great architecture and the service never disappoints. I hope the bring back Bowling and introduce more leisure attractions.

The Village Market buzzes with consumerism and if you're in that sort of mood, it's a great place to be, hang out, shop and eat. Sitting on the terrace of the Artcaffee with coffee or aperitif and watching the world go by is enjoyable. Trying the variety of cuisines available in the Food Court is a different and appealing way... More

Its a shopping mall, with a shopping mall feel...even though its got artificial waterfalls etc. Its got a great entertainment centre, for people who want to bowl or watch movies at the cinema. Artcafe is a nice and chilled place to hang out, the food and drinks is typical artcafe. Its... More

The Village Market has some shops, a modern grocery store, a few restaurants and a food court with a wide variety of ethnic foods that will appeal to most Westerners. It's not terribly crowded and it has good security so it caters to Western preferences. The food was great and I would highly recommend it.
