Very Good Food in Crowded Table Setting.

Trattoria in Nairobi has one of the very good location in the city center of Nairobi. Our party of four had lunch today on the balcony of the restaurant which oversee the traffic passing by below. We started our lunch with an order of pizza with prosciutto to share and each ordered their main... read more

Stuated in the capital Nairobi, this is one of the classic restaurant that if you are visiting the country you cant live without having a taste of their meal. Best in Italian food and see food. Their outside catering is fantastic and you will love how they present their services. For those who go for classic meals this is the... More

The waiter kept hounding us as soon as we sat down, telling us everything that was on the menu and what he thought we should have. Which is fine but we did not ask for his recommendations. It took 30 mins to take our orders and even longer to bring out our food. The food itself was ok, nothing majorly... More

Sadly Trattoria has given Italian pizza a very bad name !!! Since demise of Mama Ruffo, Trattoria food has gone downhill. The Pizza are particularly disgusting. The pizza base is thin almost like a swahili chapati. Aren't traditional italian pizza base supposed to be crusty on edges & have a bread like texture in the middle ?? Not Trattoria pizzas... More

We went to Trattoria for a business meeting. We asked to be sitted near a socket so we could work on our computers as we ate. The waitress told us that they did not have any sockets. We spotted one near the door but they declined our request to use it, saying it was company policy. We asked to speak... More

Apart from the ambiance and the great view from the balcony, the food is just ok, I wouldn't say it's worth the price. The service can be quite slow depending on 'who you are', there tends to be a lot of profiling from the waiters.

Food ok, but not outstanding , the staff did not pay much attention. Unpleasent situation, when we asked for the check, and they told us, cash only. No one had told us that.

V.Good food, quick service, nice n' wide choice menu. Only (crucial) sticking point was it is a cash only restaurant - no visa (credit or debit) or even mobile cash. Nairobi (actually Kenyan) hospitality industry has gone cashless for many good reasons. Cash-only is not good, wise or desirable. Trattoria needs to solve that, and soon!
