Panda is probably one of the few chinese restaurants that I love to eat at. Whether a family meal, business or just with friends, i find that the taste of the food is constant and you dont have to necessarily stick to the menu. Run by a family from Shanghai they bring the true taste of china to your table.
We were in Kenya on a safari. While we thoroughly enjoyed our food over 8 days in Kenya, we missed Asian food just a little bit. We were pleasantly surprised to find good and authentic Chinese food in this restaurant in Nairobi.

We always make a point to visit this restaurant. This last visit to Nairobi was no exception we found ourselves there 3 times in one week. Either lunchtime or evening. The food is excellent, the menu is varied and the staff are very attentive. The interior may appear a little tired but after you have tasted the food the visit...

Recommended by our hostess at the Sentrium 680 Hotel. Delicious and good service too. Nice setting - try the salt and pepper prawns, they were excellent. A bit pricey but worth the splurge!
The restaurant has great ambience-beautifuly furnished, quite n nicely hidden within the central business district. The food is jus fine but the additional service charge of 10% on the menu price can be a put off because the standard service charge in kenya is 2%.
we were a group of 6 celebrating a birthday and enjoyed every shilling spent!
With regards to it's location, one can easily pass the entrance as its located at the corner of the building. I had actually passed by it many times without noticing it and discovered the place through word of mouth...However, sometimes I've found a member of staff...

There were five of us who dined this week at Panda. All thought the food was outstanding. Beef with onion and garlic sauce was excellent and their pork dishes were flavorful and tender.
