This restaurant is wonderful for seafood. The food is always excellent. There is usually a pianist with live music and the service is always very good. It is set in the business area of the city which is very quiet on an evening and at weekends. If they moved the restaurant to Karen it would be constantly full.

Amazingly fresh seafood. Delicious starter "bites". Starting cocktail was tasty, if a bit weak. Had a great mushroom and asparagus soup and the seafood platter for the main. Mixed sorbets for dessert. The OMG/Disney Magic moment was when our dessert plates came out. I won't ruin it for the rest of you but it made for a very special night.

This is an expensive, posh restaurant. I found the atmosphere quite formal, but the food was excellent and the service very good.

They fly in their seafood from the coast. It doesn't get fresher than that. I still think about their oysters starters and lobster tamarind main course. You will not be disappointed.

The Tamarind has a reputation for the best seafood in Nairobi and after many years is still the same. Its high quality food and service. In a quiet area in town so if visiting ensure you are taken in car and do not walk, but once there its worth the visit

This was my first time to be at the Tamarind Nairobi, despite having been to the coast since the mid ninty's.My lady olivia liked the place, having known the TAMARIND DHOW restaurant in mombasa for frequent visit, the tamarind in Nairobi was rather similar, but with the best mouth watering african and international cusine, the game meat was lovely keep it up.
