The Tamarind chains of restaurant have set a standard that many cant overtake. Their services, staffs and food is fantastic. Their cost dhow services are among the best in East Africa. Enjoying meals on a dhow with classical music is realy fantastic experience. I loved and liked their customer service sence of humour.

Good ambience. Options to dine in or to sit out. Good sea food. The waiter seemed to have not understanding the requirements. Finally turned out to be a good evening out. About 20 mins drive from city centre away from the crowd. There is pub next door for those who want the pub ambience with live music. The waiter asked... More

The entire experience at Tamarind was excellent. I dined here with a large group, and we were seated outdoors. The atmosphere, options, service and meal were all superior in comparison to other restaurants - both in Kenya and in the U.S. They have a very creative drink menu (Mamba venom: tequila, Sambuca and Tabasco!) as well as an impressive variety... 1st I thought I knew Nairobi till I found this unique hidden sea food paradise right under my 👀. This is a 5✨ place & a 7 💫 sea food zone & a 10💥 service. Next to Coop house behind telkom Hse you don't expect such an Island of culinary delight! Unfortunately parking in the city is still a challenge... More

This is a fantastic place, as per all the reviews (which is what took me there). I highly recommend it for the perfect romantic evening, it is really somewhere special. One thing to note is that it is a bit far out and can be hard to find, better directions would be a big help for hungry travellers!

One of the best restaurants in Nairobi for sea food! I know people enjoy outings in various places, but this was just a treat for me. The staff always keen to details and food was superb. Mark it on your list when coming to Nairobi.

Beautifully prepared food in a relaxed garden environment. The menu is simple but this allows the kitchen staff to give attention to detail in presentation and ensure the food is prepared really well. This seems to be a favourite amongst expats so expect to hear a wide variety of languages spoken at tables around you!
