Cell phones are taken from one to ensure one has a peaceful meal time. Food is excellent as is the service! Tables are private and the music is just oh so tranquil. The treat is when a plate with your name written on it in chocolate is brought to you with a slogan. Mine was so befitted for my current... More

It feels a little sterile compared to its big sister at the coast but the food remains fantastic with all the fresh seafood you can eat

The service was incomparable to any place I've been. They even remembered my name and what I ordered on my 3 different visits. I highly recommend the piri-piri jumbo prawns (I had them all three times).... the prawns are bigger than most lobsters here at home. Expensive, but worth treating yourself. I'd definitely go again.

The Tamarind Nairobi has always been one of my favorite places to eat fresh sea food however it was let down by location, center of busy Nairobi CBD. The Tamarind is now located at Karen Blixen, excellent location with plenty of parking space. Also glad that the food and service is still as good as I remember. I recommend the... More

This morning visit. I was with friend to have a snack and a beverage. The friend asked me how I had discovered such flamboyant restaurant out of town. He said he will give it first preference always.

If you want to feel spoiled and well attended to then this is the place. Food and service were very good and the place had a nice feel to it. A bit on the expensive side, but you certainly get what you pay for, will definitely go again.
