The decor is elegant, warm colors, great staff. We loved the food. I had the Pad Thai that was probably the best I've ever had in the world. If you go to the Stanley Hotel...don't miss Thai Chi.

It's the place priding itself as the authentic Thai restaurant in town. By Nairobi standards its probably the closest to the real thing, though that doesn't mean much given that I don't know a consistently good Thai restaurant in Kenya. As mentioned by other reviewers the pricing is definitely on the higher side. Paying 70 USD for two for a... More

Great service, excellent food - it may be a bit pricey but it's worth it, every single meal I've had here has consistently been very good. Highly recommended restaurant.

The ambience is great, easy going, great for a business lunch. The food is quite tasty. You must try the duck, sumptuous. Staff are friendly and service is fast. Fresh food too.

We have been there once and really enjoyed it . However, when we decided to repeat the experience ( Easter Sunday) - they have run out of duck, pak choi and service was non-existent.

I recently had dinner with colleagues here and was not impressed with the restaurant. The restaurant was busy and so I expected top quality but I was disappointed. Some dishes were good and others not. One lamb dish ordered appeared to be re-used roast lamb. Not impressed!

It was much better than a Thai restaurant I visited in Zurich. I still couldn't believe it. Great staff too! Bravo Thai Chi!

Thai Chi has a lovely calm setting, and the cocktails are inventive and refreshing with a number of options incorporating coconut milk. Unfortunately the food was very uneven - the fish one of my friends ordered was delicious, whereas the vegetarian entree ordered by another person was overwhelmed by chilies. I was very disappointed to receive a 'crispy noodle' dish... More

This is an upscale restaurant in the Stanley Hotel. My husband and I met a friend at the restaurant while we were visiting Nairobi. On the night of our dinner, the restaurant was extremely empty at 8:30 pm. Our appetizers were taro strings and corn cakes. The taro was excellent – unique and exciting flavors with great texture. The corn... More
