Amazing experience - top quality food!

We have been to Thai Chi on many occasions. First, we love the atmosphere and the professionalism of the staff at Stanley. We often start our visit at the Exchange Bar and then move on to Thai Chi. Thai Chi has an excellent level of cuisine and it is our must go-to for Thai food in Nairobi. The... read more

This place was something of a hidden gem which we stumbled upon by accident. It is located within the upmarket Stanley Hotel. The décor is stunning, a sort of mixture of Buddhist chic meets colonial Kenya circa 1900. To be honest -when we first heard of this place I couldn't quite envisage how a Thai Restaurant fitted into central Nairobi.... More

A surprisingly good Thai Restaurant in the heart of Nairobi. The decor is very nice & the atmosphere relaxed. We both enjoyed it enough to visit it again on our return.

We stayed at the Stanley and we're delighted with this restaurant. It is wonderful service, a nice wine list, and moderately priced. We started out with two appetizers and then shared a noodle dish and a curry, then split a banana fritter- very tasty. It is a small restaurant with nice setting, Asian style decor.

This is without doubt one of the best thai restaurants on the continent. Whatever you pick from the menu, you will get well cocked and nicely presented food on your plate. The service is discrete and effective, and if you are lucky you can aslo get a complementary massage of your neck and shoulders.

The Thai restaurant was very authentic and the food was generally very nice. It might cost around USD 18 for a curry but it was money well spent considering the quality of the food and service. It was also an extremely convenient choice if you were staying in the hotel.

We had a fabulous, authentic Thai meal, with very attentive wait staff, in a lovely setting. I was very impressed that my waiter understood some Thai and the Thai chef came out after dinner to speak with us. Treat yourself to an evening here...

Quite literally the best thai fine dine food I tasted since the Thailand. The cooks here are wizards with delicacy & mastery over every last detail of what they cook. Being in Nairobi & not visiting this place should be crime.

A very nice authentic style Thai Restaurant, but could be easily Japanese or Chinese in style and décor. Absolutely charming staff. The food was of very good quality but personally I found it lacked the edge of Thai food. The tastes were technically correct but not powerful enough, Our usual haunt is the Chaopraya in Manchester. I realise that in... More
