We went as a family 2 years ago and were delighted with the decor and ambience. That was enough to garner another visit. That is until the food came......it was uninspiring, we were served prawns that were rotten (my sister had to spit them out and were sent back! The chef didnt even come out to apologise, despite being asked... More

Pricey, but worth doing once! I like the duck, not the tri duck, but the other choice. The setting is very nice and they open at 7PM

While in Nairobi staying at the Stanley I frequented Thai Chi. It is a calming environment, luxurious service and surroundings with good food.

Very good food, and nice atmosphere for a celebration. I had a birthday dinner with my wife, and it was very romantic. It's a little pricey, and it's always difficult to navigate the traffic to get downtown, but it's worth it for a special event.

Thai Chi is a perfect, nice and calm place for a high quality thai dining experience. Prawns in pepper sauce was delicious. Bevare to dress properly, as Thai Chi doesn't like too casual clothing. Take your time - if you are starving or in a rush this is not the right place to dine. High price level, but you will... More

Thai Chi is a pleasant surprise in the Stanley Hotel in the central business district of Nairobi. Food is very well prepared, perhaps a little less spicey than many other Thai restaurants but very very tastey and tastefully presented. Other reviews highlighted high prices and certainly1000 KSh for a bottle of water is high, but appetizers and entrees are moderately... More

At the time of this review, Thai Chi is the only dedicated Thai restaurant in Nairobi (a new one is on it's way on Riverside Drive for the curious). For that status, it has a lot to uphold - and it does. Thai Chi provides great quality food, their chef is Thai, so it's as authentic as you can get... More
