At the time of this review, Thai Chi is the only dedicated Thai restaurant in Nairobi (a new one is on it's way on Riverside Drive for the curious). For that status, it has a lot to uphold - and it does. Thai Chi provides great quality food, their chef is Thai, so it's as authentic as you can get... More

Have dined here twice in the past four years. While the food is pricey, it is also exceptional. The ambience is a haven from the dusty bustle of Nairobi, and the service is professional, yet friendly and warm.

Really good service and atmosphere in the restaurant. Room available with private seating for any special occasions. Must try the popular Brandy flamed Prawns.

Food and service really good. We had honey duck. Globalization gone wrong: Ordered normal, still water. Getting "artesian" water from Norway (!). Tastes like water but costs 15$! What's artesian about holding a bottle to a source?

The decor is elegant, warm colors, great staff. We loved the food. I had the Pad Thai that was probably the best I've ever had in the world. If you go to the Stanley Hotel...don't miss Thai Chi.

It's the place priding itself as the authentic Thai restaurant in town. By Nairobi standards its probably the closest to the real thing, though that doesn't mean much given that I don't know a consistently good Thai restaurant in Kenya. As mentioned by other reviewers the pricing is definitely on the higher side. Paying 70 USD for two for a... More

The ambience is great, easy going, great for a business lunch. The food is quite tasty. You must try the duck, sumptuous. Staff are friendly and service is fast. Fresh food too.
