My sister and I came here for Christmas dinner. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly but unintrusive. They had bonbons and all the small things that made it a special experience. We ended up eating there again on Boxing Day and it was equally special! It is pricey but worth it for a lovely experience!

We enjoyed the delicious Christmas Buffet in one of Nairobis very few historical settings. The service was outstanding. I have been to many places in Africa but this was by far the best ever service. I explicitly want to mention our waiters Everestus and Barbara who made us feel like in heaven. A great treat for Xmas. I will definitely... More

We ended our trip to Africa with a night at the Stanley and dinner at Thai Chi. The food was great and the service was even better. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I'm glad that I picked up the tab at the end, because when I looked at it after I had paid I was surprised how high it was. One doesn't expect such a restaurant in a top international hotel to be cheap, and... More

I have not been to the Thai Chi Restaurant for almost a year as I always dread the traffic from Upperhill to the Stanley. However, after being back there tonight, I will definitely go through the trouble again for a treat. The crispy duck and jasmine rice is definitely a winner. The ambiance is also lovely. Great cuppacino with a... More

We went as a family 2 years ago and were delighted with the decor and ambience. That was enough to garner another visit. That is until the food came......it was uninspiring, we were served prawns that were rotten (my sister had to spit them out and were sent back! The chef didnt even come out to apologise, despite being asked... More

Pricey, but worth doing once! I like the duck, not the tri duck, but the other choice. The setting is very nice and they open at 7PM
