My friend who lives there choose this place. It was the right choice. The food was very good. We had a mix of sushi and nigiri etc. We could not eat all :( it was just to much. The price ok. The service was also good. The only negative was the bad air from the kitchen inside the restaurant.

Went for the first time with my friend after a good kickboxing session at the gym. I had the miso soup and veggie fried rice. Based on what others are saying, I would like to go back and try the sushi!

Great sushi place and very authentic. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is authentic. However, the service is absolutely awful. Going there with 4 friends, they had forgotten utensils, plates, bowls, glasses for either of us in turn. And the staff really appeared as if they couldn't care less which is a shame as the Japanese owners really appeared... More

One of the best sushi places in town! I love their salmon. Nice atmosphere. Tapenyaki not bad either. We are regulars there.

The sushi is really good but on our last visit the service was very slow and I am not sure if I will return despite it having been a favourite for many years.

Tokyo Restaurant in Karen has always been my favourite Japanese joint and now Misono. Surely, the best place for Teppanyaki. A bit on the higher side. Roughly $35 per head. If you're a Sashimi and Sushi fan, ask for assorted Sashimi and Sakura Sushi platter with some Dynamite rolls...enough for 2-3. Do not expect sushi grade salmon in any Jap... More

This is, I'm told, a historic Japanese restaurant in the Kilimani neighbourhood. It's new setting within the Greenhouse Mall is not the most exciting but the Japanese style decor inside is nicely done and the food is very good. The sushi is very fresh (the chef even showed us the ice boxes in which the fish gets flown in daily... More

We went for dinner at Misono and I found the food to be quite bland. We had teppanyaki courses which we found horrible The soup took the trophy for being downright disgusting. Further, they forced us to squeeze into a teppanyaki table with two other couples in table that sits six people. So we were supposed to intrude their privacy.... More

We went there a bit late in a friday night. We had sent our friends to order the meals as we finished up our drinks at cedars. Despite the fact that they close by 10 or 11, they waited for us to arrive. I found this very good of them and for that they get an A rating for customer... More
