I have never eaten Ethiopian food before so I asked the waiter named Nuk how to eat the mixed dish I had. The food was delicious in generous portion. I could not finish everything. The coffee was excellent. Ethiopian coffee made me look at coffee in a different way! The staff Alem who had the task of preparing coffee was... More

We went with a large group for dinner on recommendation from a friend. I'd been to Abyssinia twice previously but we decided to try Habesha. The food was pretty good. The service was ok. The grounds surrounding the outside seating area were divine. Many different types of flowers. It was quite lovely. Definitely recommended to stop in for some good... More

Lovely outside dining with fire pits and twinkly lights! Attentive service and delicious unusual food! Loved the huge fermented rice pancakes!

Habesha is one of the Ethiopian cuisine restaurants in Nairobi. It is set in nice environment in shades of small trees and big Jacarandas. My Saturday afternoons are something that I am waiting for - any time I can - to visit Habesha again. Services is very good and fast. Personnel is helpful, and always ready to advise what you... Went to Habesha will a large group of fellow travellers for dinner. The food was excellent, and we got some fantastic food and drink recommendations from the staff. Very reasonably priced, and I would certainly recommend to others.

This was our first experience at Habesha. We met a friend who had already arrived, and were seated with him in a three-sided alcove, which made for a pleasant dinner without a lot of extraneous noise from other diners. The food was good and plentiful (more than we could eat). The waiter seemed a bit resentful about taking our order... More

I always eat at Habesha once when I visit Nairobi. The food is very good. The wine is also good. The ambience is very relaxed. The service is generally good (sometimes it can be a little slack but I don't think it is much of a problem). I like going to Habesha. I always have a good time.

This is the best Ethiopian food in Kenya. Good, yummy and not expensive. Even in summer when it's a bit chilly outside the heaters allow for sitting outside and have a fun meal in a relaxed setting.
