My husband is Ethiopian, we live in Mumbai and with the lack of Ethiopian restaurants in our city we are always craving Ethiopian food. Habesha hit the spot for us. The food portions are generous, the food is well prepared and presented and the staff is very helpful. My son loves the food and the staff were always smiling with... More

Definitely worth trying once. Good outdoor sitting facility. Indoors are a bit shabby. The food was very good. Try out the avacado drink at this place!

Being a major Ethiopian restaurant in Nairobi, it was a bit disappointing in service but quite satisfying in the food. I had the general platter (cant remember the name) that has several meats, boiled egg and njeera. The food was very lovely and in big enough portions. One serving was enough for two of us. Their coffee which is brewed... More

I have eaten here so many times though i go there Mainly for the Ethiopian dish-Njera.It's so delicious and so many people come here for the same. They also brew their own Ethiopian traditional coffee served in tiny small cups.Delicious is the word!! The place is big and one can decide to seat anywhere be it in the small shed cubicles... More

We were 3 people that desided to go there because of the good reviews on tripadvisor and i have to say it was all that i hoped for. The food was fantastic and you dont stop eating although your are full. The surounding is really nice and it is like an oasis in otherwise a busy area. the only minus... More

When folks are coming to town or a group of friends have gotten together and are thinking of dinner - this is our default choice. Great food, excellent value, and a great atmosphere (if you get a table out in the garden). It's not fine dinning, but at the price it can't really be beat for a good evening out.

We ate here as a group of 7 on our first evening in Nairobi. The service was very good and the speed of delivery of food VERY impressive. We had three large dishes to share between us and it worked well. When the food arrived at the table we all thought it didn't look like it would be enough -... More

An excellent restaurant for authentic Ethiopian food in Nairobi with a good range of both vegetarian and meat dishes. The layout is both inside and outside so when Nairobi is not in one of its cold spells is a great place to relax with friends outside and eat great food. The service is various, but again fits the relaxed way... More

This cosy restaurant close to the UN Hq was indeed a pleasant surprise. We took the mixed platter of meat and vegetables which was fine for two. The Ethiopian coffee was excellent and served with popped corn. Would definately go back again.
