If you've never been to Ethiopia and want to learn more about its culture sitting in Kenya then go have a meal at this place. It's not just a restaurant but a small community in itself. It has a restaurant, bar, shisha lounge, chai (tea) area, barber shop and a general shop kind of place where all things Ethiopian are... More

Had lunch here and was impressed how quick the service was. I could not finish the Vegetarian dish and it certainly left me full. There were seven different vegetarian foods on the plate which is enough to please any vegetarian. As others have said it is basic and rustic, but that is part of the charm. Would certainly consider going... More

Loved this restaurant! Excellent Ethiopian food, quick service and very reasonably priced. The taxi ride to and from the Intercontinental hotel was more expensive that the meal (which included alcohol). I highly recommend it.

Absolutely delicious food in a very laid back setting. They have an awesome variety of Ethiopian dishes and regardless of whether you prefer meat or veggie stuff, they have plenty on offer. Also very kid-friendly.

Typical ethyopian food in a rustic environment. You must be a fan of that cuisine and you will be really happy.

Habesha is one of those restaurants that you just keep on going back to... what can I say,it's a mixture of the food, the lovely outdoor seating and the service but nothing really tops it in Nairobi. Although it is possible to find better Ethiopian/Eritrean food in town, Habesha has a consistently high standard. A good way to test how... More

Well Habesha was my first experience to Ethiopian andmust say it was brilliant. The decor is very rustic and dis organised so just visit the place for its food. The servcie is excellent, the Ethiopian wine is great and the food class. For first timer go for the big plate which can be shared between 02 or 03 people easily... More

We did not go to the one Kilimani, that one is supposed to be very cosy. We just went for a quick bite in the one downtown. It is located in a big building and it's a bit rustic, but ok.I liked the food, the personel was nice and fast and it was really cheap. We ordered one dish with... More
