Get fed in under 5 minutes!

Great traditional foods (I highly recommend the Osuga), & the fact that food never takes more than 5 mins to be in front of u is always going to be a plus!

Great place to try true Kenyan fare and great prices. Choices are served up quickly and everything arrives hot. Try the tilapia, goat, wet beef, ugali and kale are an all around delicious experience. Wash it down with a Tuskers and you have a perfect evening. Music is a little loud in the dining area if you want to talk,... More

The place was clean and nice. The menu was a little limited but from what I was told we went at a late time so that meant limited food selection. But the food was good.

Probably my favourite restaurant in Nairobi serving good quality food at a very good price. The restaurant( K'osawei to the locals) serves traditional kenyan food and is eaten the traditional way (with your hands). The fried fish (Tilapia) served with Ugali and Katchumbari is best I have tasted at 500 Ksh for everything. If you want real Kenyan food you... More

This a perfect choice if you want to taste local dishes. It has a number of options, from brown ugali, to local vegetables and traditional fish. These are some of the dishes that, to many of us, can only be associated with our grandmothers because we have long forgetten how to make them or how they taste. The prices are... More

We were looking for somewhere to eat authentic African food and also to hear some live music. We found both here although the music was more jazz/reggae than African but it was still an enjoyable meal and the music was not too loud. We had the fried fish (tilapia) with ugali (maize flour) and ate with our fingers the traditional... More

For any one who would like to taste the luo traditional food at its best, i recommend Ronalo restaurant. The food will cost you between Ksh 500/- to 600/-per plate including a drink. The only down side with this place is that its a little crowded.Other than that, its very... More

It's so popular with locals ! It's a large restaurant, yet, always full! It has a large outdoor area, and live band area. Food is ok, all Kenyan trads, fish is the best. Even some VIP comes here to eat. For grilled fish, veggie, Kenyan crape looking bread and kenyan beer with elephant on it ... All these were $12. ... More
