The best view in Luxor

A lovely little café with one of the best views in Luxor, overlooking Luxor temple. The staff were extremely friendly and remembered our faces. It's also one of the only cafes in Luxor with fully functioning air conditioning- something that certainly welcome in the midday heat. There is an... read more

At last it is possible to enjoy a proper latte without paying hotel prices. The cafe is difficult to find unless being told about it. It is situated upstairs in a building behind Luxor Temple between Macdonalds and Aboudi`s Bookshop. The service is good ,the barristas are pleasant chaps, the prices are very reasonable.Clean lavatories too! Enjoy your coffee or... More

This is a great little place to go for a sit down, a drink and a snack with no worries about anything. The entrance from the street is quite dark but you go up the stairs to comfy seating both inside and out on the balcony. The view is brilliant - Luxor temple. It's even better in the evening when... One of the rare public cafes in Luxor where you feel at ease and relaxed. Two beautiful balconies with tables on first and second floor with great view on Nile, Luxor Temple and life on the square in front of the mosque. Pleasant waiters, althouth the "chief" could not resist in offering us, besides cafe and Cola (what we wanted)... More

This is a great place to sit and watch the world go by in the square. The coffees are excellent whether hot or cold and the snack meals we had there are very good. The staff are very welcoming and friendly - go even if just for a drink and an escape from the street. Everything to like and nothing... More

Located next to McDonald's overlooking the temple of Luxor , this coffee house is a welcome refuge from the constant hassling on the streets below. Their coffee is good, quality Italian beans and we always get alarm welcome when going there. The food menu is aspirational as most items are not available but that's a fact of life in a... More

My husband and I are Americans living in Luxor and we were delightfully surprise to see a Cafe Latte here. It was one of our favorite places for coffee, homemade soups, salads, scones and tarts in the states. They do make a great cappuccino, but the croissants and cheesecake has been stale or over heated every time we have ordered... More

I've been living in Luxor for 6 years and always saw this cafe but never bothered to go there, but after having an unscheduled coffee at Cafe Latte today I will definitely be a regular. The best brewed coffee in Luxor(humungous cups but you will still force another one down just because it's so good) I can assure you. The best... More

You get a great view of the Luxor temple with the mountains in the back-ground. Drinks are a fair price - 6 LE for a coke, 6LE - plain croissant and 7LE for Mint Tea. They do have an English price list . Did find the music a bit loud but to be fair we never asked them to turn... More
