Went there today, 23rd May, to dodge the heat whilst on a mooch around the neighbourhood (staying at the Steigenberger Nile Palace). Food was lovely and very tasty and the milkshakes were just what we needed to refuel after a wander in the blistering heat. The owner was very friendly and had time to chat to us about the recent... We really disliked this place. The food was fine . The expat lady serving / cleaning tables was very hurried to the point that we felt like we were an inconvenience. Also the place was filled with other local expat restaurant owners from around the area who talked to each other loudly between tables , over our heads....felt very very cliquey,... More

Laura and Mahmoud certainly know how to create a relaxing haven in the cenre of bustling Luxor. Situated in the little England area in Radwa Sherifa Street that is more or less opposite the Sonesta St George hotel. Highly recommended. Try warm home made ginger cake with ice cream and one of the excellent milk shakes, freshly pressed lemon or... More

You will find a good variety of breakfast, brunch, lunch or afternoon tea options here, all at a very reasonable pricse. The daily specials of cakes, cookies are a delicious treat, but be warned they usually sell out early in the day. You can also order tasty packed lunches for an excursion to the West Bank etc. or the plane... More

Very clean, cheap food. Lorraine is one of the friendliest waitresses I.ve ever met she makes you feel so welcome. They also do a cheap flight package sandwich crisps, chocolate and drink.

Really enjoyed the Secret Garden for a coffee stop on returning from early morning tomb raiding on the West Bank. Great coffee and snacks including plain and toasted sandwiches, baked potatoes, salads and burgers, all simply presented and prepared to order. Staff were very happy to oblige when I wanted a combination (falaffel and salad) not on the standard menu.... More
